Pembroke County Cricket Club Monthly Awards:

 
 
The Pembroke County Cricket Club has recently released their monthly awards for player performance and PembrokeshireSport.co.uk extends its sincere congratulations to the winners for May and June – and it is worth noting that in the intervening months both have even improved on the huge number of runs scored in their particular month – and might well feature at later times in the season.
 
Matt originally hails from South Africa but has lived in Laugharne for some time – and played a few games in 2025 where he showed what a talented all-rounder he is. This season he has really proved an asset and at one stage since then his average was bordering on 150 as proof of his consistency!
 
So well done Matt – and good luck for next season in Division Two!

Saundersfoot Cricket Club’s triumph in winning Division One of the Pembroke County Cricket Club League has needed a remarkable effort from every player involved but there is no doubt that their leading light has been all-rounder Tom Mansbridge, who collected the June award but since then has produced even more amazing  figures with bat and ball.
 
A few centuries, alongside other great innings, plus excellent bowling figures, have resulted in Tom averaging three figures and is only 92 runs short of a thousand runs for the season, despite two Saturdays which were rained off.
 
Well done Tom – Remarkable!
