High praise from Angela

Angela Miles, disability sport development officer for Sport Pembrokeshire – the sports development arm of Pembrokeshire County Council - said she was delighted the clubs had received the award.

“The foundations for the programmes are built on the assumptions that if the principles of inclusion are built into everyday practices then everyone in the organisation will benefit.”

Other clubs to follow

Angela is also working with Pembrokeshire Puffins, Pembrokeshire Disabled Bowlers, Fishguard Flyers and Pembrokeshire Harriers, and hopes that these clubs will soon also gain Insport Club awards.

If any club would like to go through the programme or would like assistance on aiding disabled members, please contact Angela on 01437 776379 or 07920213651.
