There was an impressive display of boccia recently at the 2014 Adult Boccia Competition at Milford Haven Leisure Centre in an event organised by Sport Pembrokeshire in collaboration with Disability Sport Wales. 
 
Twelve teams entered this year: namely;  Portfield Social Activity Centre (two teams), Young Vipers (two teams), Avenue Social Activity Centre (two teams), Anchorage Social Activity Centre (two teams), Pembrokeshire College (two teams), plus the Crymych Panthers and Pembrokeshire Strikers.
 

Top Boccia Competition at Milford Haven Leisure Centre The teams competed in three groups with the winner from each group, plus the highest runner up, qualifying for the semi-final.


The results of the semi-finals were as follows:  Pembrokeshire Strikers 2 / Crymych Panthers 5, and The Anchorage Devils 6 / The Pink Ladies 4.
 
The final was between Crymych Panthers and The Anchorage Devils, with Crymych Panthers winning by six points to three. 

The winners and runners up were presented with trophies by Stephen Thornton of Valero, which sponsored the event.
