Narberth suffered their first defeat of the season but they still remain top on goal-difference of the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division.

The Bluebirds were humbled 3-0 at Monkton Lane, with the flighty Swifts scoring three unanswered second half goals from Daniel Scourfield, Ben Adams and Marcus Blair, and this result moved them up to third position, just four behind leaders Narberth and Hakin United who are both on 20 points.

James Stanmore scored a goal in each half for champions Hakin United, who gained an important 2-0 victory and three precious points at Johnston, the Vikings went joint top and also have a game in hand over leaders on goal difference Narberth.

Stephen McNabney and Peter Thomas (penalty) struck late goals that earned Merlins Bridge a slender 2-1 victory against Neyland. The visitors led through a Patrick Bellerby goal in the first half, and were on course for surprise win at the Racecourse, that was until Jeremy Evans and Mike Chandler were both sent off for the Nomads, and then they conceded two late goals to come away with nothing for their whole hearted efforts.

Second from bottom Hundleton lost 5-1 at home against St Clears. Finding the back of the net for the Saints was Owain Evans, Nathan Evans, Josh Jones (2) and an own goal. The only goal that the homesters could muster was through Thomas Powell.

For the second successive week Saundersfoot Sports drew 3-3 at home, this time against Goodwick United. Richard Cope, Luke Brolan and Jake Marsh netted for the Sports, whilst Lewis Banks, Wayne O’Sullivan and James Evans scored for the visitors.

Tenby are in a rich vein of scoring form as they thrashed Pennar Robins 7-0 at home. Sam Christopher and Billy Vaughan grabbed a hat-trick apiece and Callum Proctor also added his name to the score sheet.

West Dragons hammered bottom of the table St Ishmaels 8-0. Finding the back of the net for the red-hot Dragons were Johnny Horgan (2), Scott Crawford (2), Jordan Thomas, Jamie Palmer, Ewan Cunningham and Bradley Barrett.
