The top five teams in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division all claimed victories so there is no change in the top half of the table.
Current leaders Goodwick United gained an emphatic 5-0 victory at bottom of the table St Ishmaels. Bagging the goals for the ‘Phoenix Lads’ that was all scored in the first half were Rhys Dalling (2), Lewis Banks, Steve Blackford and Kieran O’Brien.
Narberth who are in second position narrowly won 2-1 at home against West Dragons. Finding the back of the net for the Bluebirds were Ashley Williams and a penalty converted by Tony Evans. Scott Crawford scored a late consolation goal for the visitors.
Gareth Fawcett scored an 85th minute to earn Hakin United a slender 1-0 victory over Pennar Robins at The Obs.
Fourth placed Johnston had Steven Dockerty and Nicky Woodrow for scoring in their 1-2 win at third from bottom Saundersfoot Sports. Substitute Luke Wallace scored the Sports solitary goal.
Fifth placed Merlins Bridge had a convincing 5-2 win over second from bottom Hundleton. Stephen McNabney and Nathan Greene scored a brace alongside a goal from Simon Thomas. Jason Donahoe scored the visitors both goals as they slipped to their 14th defeat of the season.
Monkton Swifts drew 1-1 at home against St Clears. Ian Derbyshire gave the Saints a one-goal cushion at the interval, but Ben Nicholas struck an equaliser in the second half.
Tenby won 6-0 at home against Neyland – Sam Christopher (3), Daryl Mansbridge (2) and Jordan Richards struck the goals for Mike Lewis’ Seasiders.
Dramatic cup semi-finals
Division Two cup holders Prendergast Villa lost 5-4 on penalties against Clarbeston Road in their semi-final clash played at Phoenix Park. Ben John bagged Villa’s goal and Richard Bevan scored for the Road as the tie finished 1-1 after 90 minutes and there were no further goals scored in the extra-time period.
In the other semi-final Solva comfortably reached the final by beating Letterston 3-1. Ben Jones, David Price and Rob Corner netted for Solva whilst Gareth Mathias scored his side’s only goal.
