Plenty of action in the top flight despite terrible weather that hit the county

Despite heavy rain and gale force winds that hit the county, all seven games were concluded in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday.
 
Reigning champions Hakin United moved closer to retaining a third successive title with an emphatic 9-1 win against Monkton Swifts at The Obs. Nicky Woodrow (4), Justin Harding (3), Ben Aldred and Stevie Mathias scored for the Vikings, whilst Jordan Kilby scored for the ravaged Swifts.
 
Bottom of the table Saundersfoot Sports narrowly lost 2-1 against second placed Merlins Bridge at home. Adam Davidson scored that gave the homesters the lead, but Wizards’ skipper Stephen McNabnePlenty of action in the top flight despite terrible weather that hit the countyy scored twice to secure the points.
 
Tenby came from behind to seal a 3-1 victory over third in the table Herbrandston. The visitors took the lead through an own goal, Sam Christopher equalised as his team-mates Joe Leahy and Jack Christopher added further goals that sealed the victory.
 
Goodwick United gained a convincing 4-1 victory against Neyland at Phoenix Park. Steffan Hayes, Rob Morgans, Wayne O’Sullivan and Stephen Evans bagged the goals for the victors, whilst Scott Jones scored a late consolation effort for the Nomads.
 
Johnston came from behind to defeat Angle 3-2 at home. Connor Willis gave the visitors the lead before Liam Boswell equalised for the Tigers, Lee Brockway scored a penalty that put the visitors back in front, but the Tigers hit back with late goals by Adam Hawkins and Jack Mills to steal the points.
 
West Dragons moved out of the relegation zone on goal difference with an emphatic 5-2 victory away at St Clears. Ashley Prior (2), Rhys Clutterbuck (2) and Craig George netted for the visitors, as the Saints scored goals through Dan Ramsey and Scott Page.
 
Narberth came from behind to salvage a 3-3 draw against Pennar Robins at Jesse Road. The visitors raced into a three-goal lead at half time, Ben Steele, Dean Driscoll and Richard Hughes netted for the Robins. The Bluebirds fought back with goals in the second period by Dorian Davies, Matthew Price and Dylan Davies to earn an unlikely point.
