Lee looks to help Alzheimer’s Society at Cardiff Half Marathon
Lee Morgan, (24), the manager of West Dragons Football Club, has taken up the challenge of the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.

Lee, who hopes to raise over £1000 by taking part in the Cardiff Half on the 4th October 2015 said:
“I decided to take part in this challenge for Alzheimer’s Society because over the course of the last 18 months I have seen the effects dementia has on individual’s such as my grandmother, who has suffered a rapid decline in her health, but also how it has affected the whole family.

“Taking part in a run for Alzheimer’s Society is a great way, not only to show support, but to motivate myself to improve my fitness (which isn’t the best). It’s good to know that every step will help support people with dementia and their carers today, and fund research to find a cure for tomorrow.’

Jeremy Hughes, the Chief Executive at Alzheimer’s Society, added:

“We are delighted that Lee is giving his time to support Alzheimer’s Society.  225,000 people will develop dementia this year, that’s one every three minutes. As a charity we rely on the generosity of individuals like Lee to help us continue our vital work.

“Please back Lee in his fundraising efforts so that Alzheimer's Society can continue leading the fight against dementia.”
