Goodwick United and West Dragons are the only teams who have won all their games in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division.
The Phoenix Lads are top of the table as they have a better goals difference than The Dragons, with champions Hakin United are hot on their tails just two points behind in third.
Hakin United won 10-1 against St Clears at home, this was the biggest win in the division, the Vikings actually went behind through a well taken Steffan Hughes goal, but the Vikings equalised as the score read 1-1 at half time, in the second period they ran the Saints ragged scoring nine goals without reply to boost their goals tally. Bagging the goals for the Vikings were Nicky Woodrow (3), Adam Davies (3), Ashley Bevan (2), Ben Steele and substitute Steve Mathias.
Herbrandston were good value for their 6-1 win at home against Carew. Alex Ouzman
scored a brilliant hat-trick alongside goals from Shane Walsh, Darren Devonald and Mike Evans. The Rooks’ only goal of the match was scored by James Adie in the first half.
Johnston were well beaten 1-6 at home to Goodwick United. Both teams came into this clash unbeaten, Luke Heyward had an early penalty saved by James Gwilt. The Phoenix Lads took control with goals by Rhys Dalling (3), Adam Raymond, Rob Morgans and Scott Delaney. The Tigers scored with a late penalty scored by Scott Murray.
Merlins Bridge beat Milford United 3-1 to record their first win of the season at The Racecourse. James Skudder, Nathan Greene and a penalty by Peter Thomas netted for the Wizards, Michael ‘Ginty’ McCarthy scored for the Robins.
Narberth slipped to a disappointing 2-4 defeat at home to the impressive high flying West Dragons. Former Bluebirds boss Matthew Price claimed an early hat-trick alongside a Scott Crawford strike, Greg Fearne and a debut goal for Dylan Blain was all the homesters could muster.
Neyland came from behind to snatch a 3-2 win at home against Angle. Justin Harding scored the opener with the visitors taking the lead through Nathan Ferrier and Jake Seaton finding the back of the Nomads’ net. But the homesters clawed their way back with Mike Chandler equalising and Harding adding his second of the game with a late winner.
Tenby slipped to another disappointing defeat, this time losing 1-2 at home against Pennar Robins. Curtis Hurlow scored for Tenby while Pennar secured the points with goals from Patrick McDonagh and James Groves.
