Muskett strikes winner against battling Tish

Carew 1 – St Ishmaels 0

Adam Muskett grabbed a late goal to secure a hard-fought slender victory against St Ishmaels.

If the Rooks thought this was going to be an easy ride against Tish, well Rob Scourfield team were given a battle against Gerrard Gray’s battlers.

Neither side could break the break the deadlock after 45 minutes, in the second period it still looked as if it would finish goalless.

However, in the 73rd minute the Rooks finally managed to conjure up the decisive goal which secured them the points.

Zac Rowell assisted Adam Muskett, the latter who showed neat composure to fire past Tish keeper Andy Pawlett, much to the relief of the home outfit.
