Goodwick have title in sights after win at Monkton

Goodwick United are just two wins away from clinching the title after they overcame Monkton Swifts at Monkton Lane.
Wayne O’Sullivan’s team have a home game against Carew then an away trip to second placed Hakin United.
The visitors led 2-0 at the interval, Jordan Griffiths scored the opener in the 17th minute when Kiran O’Brien’s shot rapped the crossbar and the alert striker nodded home the rebound.
In the 44th minute Daniel James set-up Rhys Dalling who turned sharply inside the box and scored with a sweet left foot finish in the bottom corner.
On the hour mark the Swifts pulled one back when Connor Hay released Jamie Wilkes who cut in off his left wing then struck a low drive in the far corner.
In the 74th minute the visitors added their third, it stemmed from a well delivered Luke Hayward corner as Jordan Griffiths headed home at the far post.
Four minutes later Dalling added the fourth, Jonny Horgan played it to the striker who turned his defender and struck a right footed effort into the corner.
In the 82nd minute Connor Hay struck his side’s second with a neat Dylan Davies assist, but it was Goodwick who won and claimed another important three points.

Haworth’s stunning hat-trick stuns The Sports
Merlins Bridge 4 – Fishguard Sports 1
Will Haworth scored a stunning second half hat-trick to earn Merlins Bridge victory against Fishguard Sports at the Racecourse.
Wizards boss Gareth Williams would have felt happy his team picked up their ninth win of the season, but they didn’t have it all their own way as Brian Kinsella’s Sports outfit had their moments.
James Dickson pulled off a couple of early saves to deny the Sports, Niall Kinsella’s shot from distance was comfortably saved by the Wizards’ shot stopper.
In the 31st minute the hosts opened the scoring as Matthew D’Ivry picked out Ben Davies in the box, the diminutive striker made no mistake through a crowded area.
However, six minutes later the visitors found themselves level, as the Wizards failed to clear their lines and Jordan Raymond pounced.
In the 65th minute the Wizards regained the lead as goal scorer Davies assisted for Haworth to neatly place home past Patrick Hughes.
Nine minutes later Haworth added his side’s third after he was set-up by a selfless through ball by D’Ivry.
In the 89th minute the Wizards were awarded a penalty, Haworth stepped up and confidently despatched from 12 yards that put the result beyond doubt.

Muskett brace helps Carew to high scoring win
Carew 6 – Clarbeston Road 3
Adam Muskett grabbed a brace which helped Carew who comfortably overcame Clarbeston Road in a high scoring affair at The Rec.
The Rooks were quite literally flying in the first half as they led 5-0 at the break, the goals were scored at regular intervals through Curtis, Hurlow, Muskett, Gareth Lewis, Archie Smith and Muskett again.
After the break, The Road mounted a fight back as Richard Bevan, Jason Griffiths and Matthew Griffiths all scored for the visitors, but the Rooks had the final say as Jordan Richards added the sixth to wrap up proceedings.

Player boss Southcott hits stoppage time winner
Hundleton 2 – Pennar Robins 3
A stoppage time winner by player boss Sam Southcott earned Pennar Robins a slender victory at derby rivals Hundleton.
Back in February Hundleton won 4-0 at Bush Camp, but the Robins gained sweet revenge with this dramatic victory.
The visitors led 2-0 at the brake as Tom Grimwood and Craig Asparassa struck early in the first period.
However, Hundleton fought back with goals by William Abrahams and Cameron Brunton to level matters.
Right at the death Pennar nicked the points as Connor Roberts set-up his player boss to score a crucial winner which gave his side the bragging rights.

Vikings are too hot for Bluebirds

Title seeking Hakin United gained as expected a comfortable win against bottom of the table Narberth at the Obs.
The Vikings led 6-0 at half time plus scored a further eight goals after the break to boost their goals difference average.
Manager Scott Davies’ Vikings goal scorers were shared between Gareth Fawcett, Shane Walsh, Justin Harding and Ashley Bevan each had a hat-trick, plus there was one apiece for Ryan Wilson and Jake Merry to complete the rout.
