Vikings win five-goal thriller at Carew
Carew 2 – Hakin United 3
Hakin United edged a five-goal thriller against Carew at the Rec, this was the champions’ seventh win of the season.
Manager Scott Davies’ Vikings are third in the table with five games in hand on new leaders Goodwick United, Ceri Brace’s Rooks sit in fifth as they lost for the fourth time.
Hakin put the Rooks under early pressure, but it was Carew who broke the deadlock in the 15th minute as a swift counter attack saw Marcus Griffiths release Archie Smith who gleefully swept the ball home past Sam Franklin.
The Vikings bagged two goals in as many minutes to put themselves in front, both were bagged by the returning deadly striker Nicky Woodrow, the equaliser set-up by Adam John, the second was teed-up by skipper Matthew Broome.
In the 53rd minute the Vikings added a third as Woodrow set-up Shane Walsh who made no mistake past keeper Tom Davies.
On 64 minutes, the hosts pulled one back through captain Sonny Phillips, but there was no further scoring as the Vikings sealed three precious points.

Goodwick defeat Tish to go top of table
Goodwick United 3 – St Ishmaels 1
Goodwick United gained a workmanlike victory against St Ishmaels at Phoenix Park.
This result ensured that the Phoenix Lads moved a point clear at the top of the table whilst Tish stay in the uncomfortable second from bottom spot.
In the ninth minute the hosts opened the scoring as Rhys Dalling put away Jonny Horgan who comfortably slotted past Owen Thomas.
Despite Chris O’Sullivan’s Goodwick outfit dominating they came up against some stiff Tish resistance.
Five minutes after the interval the visitors equalised through Joel Morgan, but just past the hour mark Dan James restored his side’s lead thanks to a neat Steff Hayes assist.
In the 64th minute Goodwick put the result beyond doubt as the influential Dalling put in Rhys Jones who made no mistake.

Swifts too hot for The Saints
Monkton Swifts 4 – St Clears 0
As the scoreline suggests Monkton Swifts totally dominated this clash against St Clears at Monkton Lane.
Swifts manager Chris Lloyd will be pleased his team picked up their sixth win of the campaign as they sit fourth in the table the Saints are bottom.
In the 17th minute Paul Miller’s sublime pass fell to Dylan Davies who pounced from inside the box for the opener, just before the break Jamie Wilkes added the second thanks to a neat Ben Steele assist.
Three minutes after the break Blake James added his side’s third, Miller with his second assist of the match.
In the 85th minute Jake Seaton found the back of the net, set-up by Steele for also his second assist of the game.

Kilgetty claim win high scoring affair
Neyland 3 – Kilgetty 6
Kilgetty gained a thoroughly deserved victory at Neyland in a high scoring affair.
The visitors opened the scoring the 13th minute as Owain Coombs made no mistake with a close-range finish.
In the 17th minute the Nomads levelled matters, a neat ball down the right by Cory Richards to Aidan Rees, the latter’s by-line cut back fell into the path of Mike Chandler who beat a defender before he drilled into the net.
The visitors restored the lead when striker Steven Thomas headed home, two minutes later they added their third as Richard Tebbutt’s trickery on the right resulted in a well taken effort, minutes later Tebbutt headed in the fourth.
After the break the Nomads pulled one back as a neat Chandler ball over the top fell to Fletcher Picton, the 17-year-old showed a good turn of pace plus a composed finish.
In the 67th minute Thomas beat a couple of defenders before the striker drilled into the net from the edge of the area for goal number five.
In the 76th minute Richard Cope added the sixth with a firm header at a corner, in added time Corey Richards found Picton who added his second of the game for the Nomads’ third.

Robins and Sports settle for a draw

Pennar Robins and Fishguard Sports camps can feel content they shared a point apiece at Bush Camp.
Sports are eighth and Robins ninth in the table respectively, the Sports are four points clear of second from bottom Tish, whilst the Robins are just a point ahead.
The visitors opened the scoring in the tenth minute as Luke Thomas found the back of the net, the 19-year-old latched onto a Patrick Hughes assist.
Both teams created chances, both also wasted them, just before the break the Robins were awarded a penalty that Phil Thompson missed, so the visitors held onto a slender 1-0 half time lead.
In the 56th minute Liam Williams equalised as Sean Edmundson set up the 19-year-old, it ensured the Robins made their point.
