Ashley Bevan's brace secured another away win for The Bluebirds

Ashley Bevan grabbed two second half goals to see The Bluebirds come from behind to seal an impressive win against ten-man Goytre United at Glenafod Park on Friday night.
The homesters scored an early goal when Corey Francis high ball in the box, flummoxed everyone as it found its way into the back of the net.
Red mist
United were reduced to ten-men when Damon Thomas was issued a straight red card for a reckless tackle on Bluebirds’ midfielder Greg Walters.
Despite going down to ten-men Goytre United held on to a slender one-goal cushion at half time.
The visitors made there numerical advantage count in the second period as they got on top in terms of possession and territory.
Bevan strikes
The Bluebirds finally levelled matter in the 65th minute, Lee Hudgell found Antonio Facciuto with an exquisite pass down the wing, the left back crossed to Bevan, the striker beat Goytre centre back Dale Evans and unleashed an unstoppable low drive.
Five minutes from full time and the visitors nicked a second goal. Skipper Sean Pemberton released right back Matthew Broome down the right and his accurate cross in the box was met by a powerful far post header by Bevan to secure The Bluebirds’ ninth win of the season.
Next Friday, February 24, Haverfordwest County face another stern away test when they take on Afan Lido.
