Haverfordwest County slipped to a heavy and extremely disappointing defeat in Gwent against Goytre.
The visitors can have no complaints with the final result, the homesters scored three goals in the space nine first half minutes, two goals stemmed from free kicks and an error at the back led to the third as the visitors had a mountain to climb in the second half.

The home outfit added a fourth goal in the 61st minute, there was a glimmer of hope when Nicky Palmer pulled a goal back with a stunning volley, but Goytre added a fifth and secured the points to leap-frog Haverfordwest County and move up to second in the table as The Bluebirds slipped down to third, and are currently seven points behind leaders Barry Town United.
Bluebirds co manager Chris O’Sullivan was bitterly disappointed with the result and is looking for the squad to bounce back with a positive reaction when they entertain Port Talbot Town at the Conygar Bridge Meadow, next Saturday, April 1st, kick off is at 2.30pm.
