Haverfordwest County won their second away game in three days, with Alaric Jones and Elliot Scotcher both scoring their first goals for the club and more importantly securing three points at Ynys Park.This result sees The Bluebirds just three points behind second-placed Penybont, and Sean Cresser’s men have three games in hand.
On Tuesday, May 1st evening, Haverfordwest County entertain Goytre United in a rearranged game at the Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium.
Far post volley
The visitors opened the scoring in the 18th minute when left back Jones scored with a crisp far post volley from a corner, it gave his side a slender 1-0 cushion at half time.
Ten minutes after the break and The Bluebirds grabbed a crucial second goal, after some good build-up play Scotcher was on hand to apply the vital finishing touch.
