Eddie's Pembs Snooker League - KO Cup final:
Pembroke Power Station were deserved winners of the KO Cup Final in the Eddie’s Pembrokeshire Snooker League as they fended off the strong challenge of the Balfour Club at the Manchester Club.
Jamie Stanley, from the Power Station Club in Pembroke, provided the match-winning performance as he switched on the potting style in his frame against Peter Smiddy in the fourth frame of a best of five final, with small breaks of 30 and 18, as he outplayed Balfour cueist Peter Smiddy, finally winning by 46 points.
In the first frame of an aggregate score final, Paul Grimwood (Power Station) took on Simon Pearce, and the Power Station player soon went into a comfortable lead. Simon did hit back with a break of 23, but Paul pressed on before finally winning by 24 points.

In the second frame Lee Goldsmith (Power Station) played Anthony Griffiths. The Balfour player took the advantage from the break off, and with a small break took a healthy lead, which he maintained to win by 24 points, and the aggregate scores were level.
The third frame saw Mark Stanley (Power Station) play Raymond Hoare in a nip-and-tuck affair, with Mark just managing to win by 13 points – and after the winning frame from Jamie Stanley, the Balfour Club trailed by 59 points going into the final frame.
This was a dress rehearsal of the Division One singles final, with Paul 'Chalky' White (Power Station) taking on Terry McBride. This was a very cagey affair, with Chalky gaining a break of 25 at a vital moment to seal victory for the Power Station.
