Swansea Schools U15s 2 - Pembrokeshire Schools U15s 5
A superb hat-trick by skipper Ben Fawcett helped Pembrokeshire Schools put in an impressive recent squad performance on the Swansea University grounds which resulted in a deserved 5-2 victory.
Goals from captain Ben Fawcett (3) and Ewan Payne (2) ensured the good result needed in the Welsh Schools Competition, with clinical finishing which had been lacking in earlier matches this season.
Swansea scored a goal early on, and their other one late in the match, but the passing and all- round efforts of the Pembrokeshire players showed the determination needed throughout to secure the win.
The return to match play on grass pitches needs to continue at this level of performance when the next match takes place against Bridgend Schools or Swansea Schools at the Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium is played on Wednesday 6th April, 2016, Kick off 7.30 p.m. (To be confirmed).
