Crymych won a thriller of a Division One local derby at Whitland by 26-25 after James Stephenson was unable to convert Jack Mason’s last ditch try for the Borderers.

Gavin Thomas grabbed a try hat-trick for Crymych and there were 11 points from the boot of Sam Phillips as Matthew Clark, Rhydian Davies and Mason crossed for the homesters, their other points coming from Stephenson.
 
In Division Three (West), Tenby United kept alive their hopes of silverware with a crushing 64-22 win at Llandeilo as Roy Osborne grabbed another hat-trick alongside other Seasiders’ scores from Damien Miller (2), Luke Hansford, Jack Price (2), Gregg Caine and Barry John, plus seven Jonathan Rogers conversions. Liam Protheroe, Nathan Jones, Dan Thomas and Celfin Davies scored the Llandeilo points.

Haverfordwest ensured their safety with an excellent 42-19 victory over Llanybydder, who had tries from Craig Evans, Tony Morris and Llyr Davies, who also notched two conversions.Seasiders stay in contention for silverware

The Blues had tries from Scott James, Luke Harvatt, Terry Lovell, Scott Candler, Alun Harries and Craig Barnett, who had also brought his kicking boots as e converted all six tries.

Llyr Tobias landed three penalties as Cardigan went down 33-9 at Llanelli Wanderers, for whom Ashley Powell landed four first-half penalties. Then the Wanderers added tries after the break from Dafydd Daniel, David Jenkins and Jonathan George, all converted by the in-form Powell.
 
The Division Four (West) tussle at The Moors saw Fishguard & Goodwick edge home 25-20 against a rejuvenated Milford Haven outfit who had tries from Sam Dolling, Jonathan Fawcett and Grant Rogers, who also kicked a conversion and penalty. But tries from Ed Bendall, Gavin Walsh and Owain Morgans alongside two conversions and two penalties by Alun George were just enough to give the Seagulls a Pembrokeshire-derby double.
 
In Division Five (West), Pembroke lost their top of the table clash by 31-27 against champions-elect New Dock Stars despite a hat-trick of tries by Dom Colman and another from Max Hayward to go with a Lewis Davies penalty.

But The Stars responded with tries by Tom James, Llyr Williams, Jordan Evans, Ifan Patchell and Jason Baxter, who also kicked three conversions.

St Clears slammed Pembroke Dock Harlequins by 53-12 as Neil Harries and Joe Powell scored the visitors tries, one converted by Barry Parson. Veteran centre Ceri Jones scored three tries for the Saints and others came from Dafydd Galvey, Aled Lewis, Mark Bowen, Daniel Jones, and Nicky Price alongside five conversions and an early penalty from James Davies.

Neyland went down 47-5 at Cefneithin as Adam James marked his club debut with a try but the All Blacks were on the back foot in the second half as they conceded 34 unanswered points. Andy McCall, Owain Lewis, Matthew Green, Daniel Bonner, Sean Peregrine and Ioan Williams claimed the Cefneithin tries to go with four conversions and three penalties by Richard Watts.
 
John Whitticombe scored a superb four tries for Llangwm, who battled really hard before losing 37-31 to Llangadog at Pill Parks. Youth player Tom Meehan score the other home try as veteran Whitticombe also landed three conversions for an impressive personal haul of 26 points. But Dan Rees, Dafydd Jenkins, Carwyn Poulter, Nico Belegi, Hefin Jones and Dan Jenkins responded for Llangadog as Dafydd Jenkins also kicked two conversions and a penalty.
 
In Division Six (West), St Davids ended their season on a low note as they lost by 105-0 at Tregaron (scorers in our results section). But the Saints can take a little consolation from the fact that they have fulfilled all their fixtures and hopefully can look forward to better things next campaign.
