Otters outlasted by Mighty Pooler

Narberth led 16-12 at one stage in the first half but were 19-16 adrift at half time and were unable to halt ‘Pooler’s’ impressive run of 12 victories. Nick Gale is now just a tantalising point from an amazing tally of 1,000 points at this level!
Division One (West):
Scarlets play well at Crickmarren
Pembroke 3 Felinfoel 29
The Scarlets made a considerable improvement in play against fifth-placed Felinfoel and after trailing 0-17 at the interval only conceded two more tries and had a penalty from Luke Alderwick as their only points. Well done Geraint Lewis and his lads!

The Borderers battled hard in the first half but still found themselves 29 points in arrears – but they scored more points than their fifth-placed opponents afterwards as an old war-horse grabbed both their tries!
Division Three (West) A:
Laugharne’s finishing strength pays dividends
Pembroke Dock Harlequins 7 Laugharne 36
Pembroke Dock Harlequins pushed hard for long periods against Laugharne at Bierspool but were unable to turn pressure into points – and paid the inevitable price as Laugharne ran in six scores before The Quins grabbed a late converted try as scant reward for their part in the game.
Lampeter grab 45 first-half points
Lampeter 73 Cardigan 17
This match was over as a contest as high-flying Lampeter started with a bang and accumulated seven tries, five of them converted, before the oranges. The Teifisiders managed three tries of their own afterwards but Lampeter manged another four to claim a win that shows how strong a team they have in this division.
