Micky Phillips from the Manderwood Pembrokeshire League, Dave Badger, representing the Pembrokeshire Referees' Society, and Ceri Richards, the assistant secretary of the West Wales Football Association, along with their wives, were also in attendance.
Welcoming them and everyone else was Brian Morris, the chairman of Goodwick United AFC, who outlined the club's record-breaking treble of Pembrokeshire League, Senior Cup and West Wales Intermediate Cup
All of the guests spoke briefly to congratulate Goodwick United with Ceri Richards presenting a winner’s medal to Nigel Delaney alongside a specially embroidered pennant from the West Wales FA to commemorate the club’s success.
Managers present club awards
Second team manager Darren John also announced their awards, with Josh Welham scooping the ‘Players’ Player’ and ‘Manager’s Player’ trophies as a talented young player looking to break into the first team, and with ‘Gino Cleal winning the ‘Most Improved Player’ award.
Skipper Wayne speaks well
Club captain Wayne O’Sullivan highlighted many of the individual highlights from a long campaign and thanked everyone for their support before presenting a framed set of photographs to both managers on behalf of the players.
The DJ for a thoroughly enjoyable evening was Radio Cymru presenter Andrew 'Tommo' Thomas.
