There were runs aplenty at Glebelands but neither side was able to claim victory as Johnston entertained Haverfordwest 2nds in a traditionally hard-fought local derby.
John Summons (35), Ross Dewstowe (47, including two sixes and four fours), Danny Sutton (19) and Nathan James (10 not out) were the main Johnston scorers against James Morris (4 for 62), Simon Williams (2 for 11 in 12 overs, including six consecutive maidens), and Ritchie Davies (3 for 34).
Johnston’s Simon Williams also bowled well with 2 for 47 along with skipper Nathan James (2 for 38), Lee Summons (2 for 30) and Paul Hood (1 for 34) but good knocks from Dan Cole (eight fours in his 51) and Chris Phillips (21) before skipper Richard Scriven saw Haverfordwest to safety on 37 not out (five fours) in a hard-fought tussle.

Cresselly coast to nine-wicket win
Cresselly 2nds (103 for 1) beat Whitland 2nds (99 all out)

Cresselly Seconds coasted to a nine-wicket win over their counterparts from Whitland as they held the advantage throughout the game and never allowed their opponents back in.
Put in to bat, Whitland could only muster 99 all out thanks to Paul Webb (24), Geraint Jones (17) and 28 not out (five fours) from Geraint Phillips.
Tom Arthur (3 for 19), Phil James (2 for 33) and skipper Matthew Lewis (3 for 41) were the main wicket-takers whilst 16 year old Harry Thomas deserves credit for his 1 for 5 from eight overs, six of which were maidens.
Thomas then top scored for Cresselly with 39 not out (six fours) alongside Scott Arthur (four boundaries and two sixes in his 37) before Neale Williams joined Thomas at the end with 18 not out as only Jack Bowen (1 for 39) had any bowling success for Whitland.

Pembroke power shows against Burton
Pembroke (190 for 5) beat Burton (187 all out)

Pembroke gained an excellent win by five wickets over Burton at Treleet as they bowled and batted that little better than the opposition as Rob Weston returned to action with runs and wickets.
Weston claimed 3 for 33 in conjunction with Jonathan Rogers (4 for 47), Ceri Brace (1 for 48) and Sean Powell (1 for 22) as Burton amassed 187 all out in 44.2 overs and then scored 35 runs after tea when Pembroke successfully chased down that score.
Toby Hayman (42), Robbie Neill (53), Richard Jones (25) and Morgan Scale (18) were the top scorers for Burton.
Weston was then joined by Barry Evans (22) and getting Pembroke off to a solid start before James Skeels and Ceri Brace came together in an unbroken stand of 87 that saw them me, with Skeels striking six fours and a six in his excellent46 not out and Brace remaining undefeated on 41 (two boundaries).
Old-timer Steve Jones picked up 3 for 35 as the best Burton bowler whilst Patham Pusalkar (1 for 43) was the other Burton wicket-taker.

Dai’s superb century drives Carew to victory

A superb innings of 129 not out by Dai Rees helped Carew 2nds to victory against a Stackpole side which battled hard but had no-one who was able to create a score big enough to launch a home-team fight-back.
Talented young wicket-keeper Dafydd Bevan gave support with a nicely crafted 55 not out as Carew sped to 247 for 2 from their allotted 45 overs.
Sean Whitfield picked up 2 for 7 as Carew gradually wore down the home resistance despite 40 from Hughie Davies and 34 by Josh Davies that left Stackpole all out for 169 to earn Carew Seconds maximum points.
Saundersfoot stay top with comfortable win
Lamphey (162 for 8) lost to Saundersfoot (163 for 3)

Saundersfoot showed the difference between top and bottom in the table as basement battlers Lamphey scored a useful 162 for 8 but the Seasiders reached their target with runs and wickets in hand.
David Blackwell (34), Peter McGilloway (25), Hywel Gibbs (33) and Jason Oatley (26) topped the Lamphey batting in their tally of 162 for 8 against Danny Caine (4 for 56), Jack Franklyn (2 for 28) and Sam Franklyn 2-34.
Saundersfoot made a steady start via Paul Mansbridge (45) and Simon Wood (29) as they moved to 83 for 3 before an unbroken stand of 80 by Danny Caine (45 not out) and Phil Jones (34 not out) gave them the verdict, despite a wicket apiece for Lamphey bowlers Hywel Gibbs, Grant Cole and Neil Powling.
