Saundersfoot so impressive with the bat
Burton (148 all out) lost to Saundersfoot (149 for 2)
Umpire: Tony Scourfield
Scorers: Mark Venables & Adge John
Saundersfoot continue to rule the roost in Division Two after a relatively comfortable win at Oatfield Park against Burton but they allowed the home side to boost their total from a string of dropped catches.
Robbie Neill led the Burton batting with a typically aggressive 38 that included nine fours and he received support from Phil Sutton (27), Morgan Scale (23) and Richard Hayman – but Dai Davies claimed 3 for 22 and Simon Wood 3 for 12 as both used their experience at a higher level to good effect as Jack Franklyn (2 for 12) and James Caine (2 for 18) also bowled well for Saundersfoot.
Dai Davies then struck ten boundaries in his top score for Saundersfoot of 59 before he was well caught by Luke Hayman off Johnny Scale (1 for 26) and Paul Mansbridge chipped in with 33 before he departed for 33.
Then it was left to Simon Wood (22 not out) and Danny Caine (22 not out) to steer Saundersfoot home for the loss of two wickets as Toby Hayman (1 for 27) was the other Burton wicket-taker.

Johnston maintain good form at Glebelands
Johnston (96 for 7) beat Carew 2nds (93 all out)
Umpire: Steve Blowes
Johnston maintained second place in the table as they beat Carew 2nds at Glebelands but were pushed all the way before edging through by three wickets in a low-scoring tussle.
Put in to bat, Carew could only muster 93 all out despite 22 from Rob Scourfield (three fours and a five) and Haydn Shapcott (18) against Steve Jenkins (2 for 16), Paul Hood (1 for 26), Gary James (2 for 9) and Lee Summons, who returned impressive figures of 3 for 5 in nine overs, six of them maidens.
Chris Fitzpatrick (21) and Summons (19) topped the Johnston batting but the rest of the early order found it hard going against Rob Scourfield (3 for 21 in 12 overs) and James Owen (2 for 23). But Gary James batted well for his undefeated 13 and Paul Hood belted a big six to take a relieved Johnston side to victory.

Runs galore as Whitland win well
Lamphey (193 all out) lost to Whitland 2nds (220 for 7)
Umpires: John Austin & Mervyn John
Scorers: Helen Hodges & Ann-Marie Jenkins
There were runs galore at Lamphey before the home side lost to Whitland Seconds in a basement battle which produced 413 runs.
Dai Lee led the Whitland batting as the veteran opener sprinkled boundaries throughout his 82 before he was run out, with two other old-timers in Paul Webb (37) and Raff Williams (30) providing the main support against David Blackwell (2 for 30) and Steve Vale (2 for 46).
Hywel Gibbs led the Lamphey counter-offensive with eight fours and a six in his top score of 53 but only Blackwell (23) and Tom Powell (20) could muster much support as they eventually fell 28 runs short of a much-needed win as Geraint Phillips (3 for 43), Williams (3 for 40) and Stuart Harries (2 for 35) were the most successful Whitland bowlers.
