A number of Glamorgan players and coaches, including members of the coaching team and first team players will attend the events and will be on hand for Q&A sessions, whilst attendees will also be able to discuss their views with Peter Hybart, Cricket Wales Chief Executive and Hugh Morris the new Glamorgan CCC Chief Executive.
Chief exec Hugh looks ahead
Glamorgan’s Chief Executive and Director of Cricket Hugh Morris said,
“Developing young, talented cricketers is essential for the future of the game in Wales.
"Glamorgan and Cricket Wales, who look after the recreational game in Wales, are working more closely than ever before and only by aligning our organisations will we be able to be successful.
"We’ll be visiting clubs around Wales to explain how together we aim to improve the sport in Wales and how cricket clubs, players, spectators and volunteers can help.
Peter’s pleased to be back in Pembs
“First team coaches and players will be joining us at each event, so attendees will have a unique opportunity to speak directly to them as well as Peter Hybart, Cricket Wales Chief Executive and myself at the same time.”
Peter Hybart, Cricket Wales Chief Executive added, “The road show events were very successful last year, so I am delighted to confirm we will be repeating them before the start of the new season.
"We hope that the sessions will once again offer an exciting insight into the future of Welsh cricket for both supporters and clubs.”
Every registered attendee at each event will receive a free County Championship or One Day Cup ticket for a Glamorgan match in 2014, to be redeemed at Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy, at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff or St Helen’s, Swansea.
