Narberth crash against Banner and Hannon
Neyland (42 for 2) beat Narberth (41 all out) by 8 wickets
Umpires: Denis Chiffi & John Williams
Scorers: John Laugharne & Peter Hughes

Neyland pace men Nathan Banner and Patrick Hannon shared all ten wickets as the current champions and league leaders crushed the resistance out of the opposition in quick time at the Athletic Ground.
Narberth lurched to 14 for 5 and only Aaron Keane managed double figures as he belted three fours in one Hannon over before following the same way as his colleagues, and as Neyland held on to some simple catches alongside an excellent slip catch by Gary Lloyd, Banner finished with 5 for 18 and Patrick Hannon 5 for 22.
Narberth brothers Kyle and Ben Quartermaine returned respective figures of 1 for 12 and 1 for 18 when Neyland went in to bat but Paul Murray (21 not out) and Scott Jones (15) did enough to make sure that Neyland stay well clear at the top and Narberth remain rooted in the relegation zone.

Carew crush lowly Seasiders
Carew (120 for 0) beat Saundersfoot (118 all out) by ten wickets
Umpires: Richard Merriman & Huw Davies
Scorers: Julie Davies & Adge John
Carew cruised to a ten wicket win against lowly Saundersfoot as they shot out the Seasiders for 118 runs and then raced to their target, without losing a single wicket, in only 16.3 overs.
Saundersfoot rarely looked likely to post a big score as only Steve Cook (a gritty 29) and Jack Franklyn ever looked settled against the bowling of Rhys Davies (3 for 31) and his cousin Tom Davies (3 for 18) alongside all-rounder Simon Wood (2 for 18) – and a final tally of 118 all out was thought to be unlikely to challenge Carew’s powerful batting line-up.
And that is just the way it turned out as Nick Scourfield (33 not out) provided the ideal foil for Ian Sefton, who was at his most destructive best as he blitzed 14 fours and two big sixes en rout to an undefeated 85 and ensured an early finish to a one-sided match.

Runs aplenty as Tish hold on at the finish
Cresselly (252 all out) drew with St Ishmaels (204 for 9)
Umpires: Arthur Brady & John Austin
Scorers: David Richards & Wendy Bradshaw
There were runs aplenty at Cresselly as the home side belted a huge 252 all out with three balls remaining and St Ishmaels battled all the way before ending up still needing another 49 runs but with their overs used up and their last pair at the crease.
Cresselly showed their array of batting ability as Phil Williams (39), Harry Thomas (22), Simon Cole (31) and Mike Shaw (26) posted cameo innings as Iwan Izzard again demonstrated his batting power as he lashed ten fours and three big sixes before he was finally dismissed for an excellent 79.
Andrew Pawlett’s slow stuff gave him a creditable 5 for 69 haul in 12 overs and there were wickets for Matthew Phillips (1 for 44), Danny Flynn (2 for 43), Robbie Thomas (1 for 31) and Andrew Palmer (1 for 30), making a welcome return to action for Tish.
Brennan Devonald (four fours and three sixes in his 56) was joined By Jonathan Pawlett (six fours and three sixes in his 51) batted really well for Tish but only Andrew Williams (17) stayed long otherwise against Tom Arthur (2 for 32), Harry Thomas (1 for 19), Stefan Jenkins (1 for 45), plus ‘spin twins’ Mike Shaw (3 for 34) and Simon Cole (2 for 28).

Llanrhian throw away gilt-edged chance
Llanrhian (145 all out) lost to Haverfordwest (160 all out) by 15 runs
Umpires: Dave Brandon & Dai Morris
Scorer: Jayne Cole and Rob Morris
Llanrhian came very close to a rare success against Haverfordwest at Llandigige Fawr as they needed only 21 runs with five wickets remaining but no-one was able to stay long in support of an outstanding innings of 70 not out (nine fours and a six) by Dominic Wright and relieved The Town collected very welcome win points.
Haverfordwest were dismissed for 160 in the 45th over as Dominic Wright (3 for 38) and Gareth Davies (4 for 34) were the principal wicket-takers for Llanrhian, with The Town reaching their total thanks in the main to Simon Holliday (26), Kieran Griffiths (16), Danny Potter (31), Huw Scriven (three sixes in his 31) and Josh Wilment (a late 14 not out). Jack Jones (24) and Gareth Davies (16) joined Wright for a while against Josh Wilment (2 for 17), Nigel Morgan (1 for 21), Dai Davies (2 for 13) and Holliday (4 for 41).
Huw Scriven also caught the eye behind the stumps, with three stumpings and two catches for The Town - and Llanrhian will look back on this as a game they really should have won!
