Haverfordwest ‘A’ took a step closer to the Pembrokeshire Indoor cricket League title as they beat their ‘B’ team with ease to stand just a match away from Whitland from the silverware.
In the other match, there was a terrific finish as Neyland ‘B’, boosted by a superb all-round performance from Paul Murray, edged out Haverfordwest ‘B’ by five runs in a high scoring clash

Match One – Neyland ‘B’ v Haverfordwest ‘B’

 
Paul Murray continued his fine form as he top scored for Neyland ‘B’ with a boundary-laden 54 not out, supported by Jason Oatley (32 not out), Nathan Sutton (13 not out) and Steve Murray (13). There were also 16 extras which took their final total to their best of season 133 for 2 as only James Morris managed a wicket for The Town ‘B’ alongside a run out.
Haverfordwest ‘B’ lost Avron Roulstone early on but Kashif Ijaz crashed six sixes in his 54 before Murray intervened with a superb one-handed catch above his head as another six seemed certain.
 Kern Cunningham hit 16 and Sean Williams scored 28 not out but Josh Hicks departed first ball and James Morris could only muster a single as Neyland ‘B’ were able to celebrate victory!

Match Two – Haverfordwest ‘A’ v Haverfordwest ‘B’

 
Asked to bat first, Haverfordwest ‘A’ showed their experience as they sped to 133 without losing a single wicket,
Ben Field and Simon Holliday both retired on 27 and skipper Danny Potter did the same on 25 before Nigel Delaney (20) and Hus Scriven (13) were undefeated at the end, assisted by 21 extras as their ‘B’ team bowling came under pressure.
Holliday and Field then showed their bowling prowess in sharing five wickets for only 22 runs as the ‘B’ team were shot out for 55 runs.
Avron Roulstone scored 28 before he fell to Field as Danny Potter took an excellent catch in the gully, with Field claiming he must now be considered an all-rounder! Field also took a terrific catch near the back wall as Ijaz tried to blast another six and only Sean Williams scored 13, with Josh Hicks lasting only two deliveries this time and Morris also failing to score.
