Glebelands Boys beat the League champs
Neyland (105 all out) lost to Johnston (107 for 4)
Umpires: Tony Scourfield & Ian PhillipsScorers: John Laugharne & Delyth Summons
Newly-promoted Johnston claimed the surprise verdict of the day in division one as they made the short journey to the Athletic Field and returned with a six-wicket win over current champions Neyland.
After being asked to bat first, Neyland were soon in trouble at 35 for 3 and 70 for 5 and although there useful innings from Andrew Miller (30), Ashley Sutton (20) and Gregg Miller (12) it was the bowling of Steve Mills (3 for 19), Dan Sutton (1 for 23), Kevin Roberts (3 for 17) and new recruit Jason Davies (3 for 37) that helped shoot out Neyland for 105 in 38 overs.
Neyland are nothing if not bonny battlers however, and useful spells from Andrew Miller (2 for 9) and Patrick Hannon (1 for 12) applied a little pressure alongside 1 for 41 from Nathan Banner.
Dan Sutton (four fours and a six in his 37) and Lee Summons (30, including two sixes and a four) batted well for Johnston and with Chris Fitzpatrick chipping in with 15 the Glebelands Boys were victorious in the 35th over.
Skipper Rhys leads Carew cruise
Carew (152 for 3) beat Llanrhian (150 all out)
Umpires: Trefor Evans & Huw DaviesScorers: Julie Davies (Carew)
New Carew skipper Rhys Davies lead by example against Llanrhian as he claimed a five-wicket haul before tea – and then his cousin Tom Davies hit a powerful 61 not out afterwards to help his side home in only 33 overs.
Asked to bat first, Llanrhian never found it easy against good Carew bowling by Rhys Davies (5 for 23), Simon Wood (2 for 18) and Tim Hicks (2 for 19), with only Dom Wright ever looking settled as he reached 58 not out, supported by Jack Jones (19) as the only other batsman in double figures in a final tally of 150 all out.
Brian Hall scored a bright 40 alongside Ian Sefton (27) before Tom Davies blitzed four fours and five big sixes to complete a good day for Carew – and the Davies boys!

Town gain good all-round victory
St Ishmaels (126 all out) lost to Haverfordwest (190 for 9)
Umpires: Allan Hansen & Tony Waldeis
Scorers: Wendy Bradshaw & Jayne Cole
A number of the Haverfordwest team made significant contributions with bat and ball as they claimed victory by 64 runs at St Ishmaels.
A feature of the Haverfordwest innings was the steady batting shown by skipper Ben Field 27, Holliday (30), Dai Davies 24, Adam Raymond (23), Nigel Delaney (37), and Avron Roulstone (23) as no-one went on to score big but helping to produce a respectable final total.
For Tish, the best bowling figures came from Andrew Pawlett (3 for 17), Dean John (2 for 53) and Andrew Williams (3 for 51).
When Tish batted after tea it was only Dean John (36), Andrew Williams (21) and Andrew Pawlett (31) stayed long against the bowling of Adam James (3 for 30), Josh Wilment (2 for 31), Clive Tucker (2 for 25) and Holliday (3 for 2) and they were dismissed in only the 28th over in a disappointing batting display.

Cresselly clatter near neighbours
Cresselly (131 for 0) beat Lawrenny (130 all out)
Umpires: Dave Brandon & Richard Merriman
Scorers: Sophie Arthur & Malcolm Thomas
Matches between these near neighbours are traditionally hard fought but on this occasion Cresselly sealed a rare ten-wicket win as they bowled out Lawrenny for 130 and then strolled to victory as Adam Chandler and Matthew Morgan knocked off the runs in only 22 overs.
Ryan Lewis was again a mainstay in the Cresselly bowlers as his canny slow stuff earned him figures of 5 for 34 alongside Brad McDermott-Jenkins (3 for 30), Tom Murphy (1 for 33) and Simon Cole (1 for 13)
Steve Lewis batted well for his 50 in the Lawrenny line-up but after Andrew Cole (28) and Huw Griffiths (17) had shared an opening partnership of 43 no-one else got going.
After tea it was just plain sailing for Cresselly as Chandler hit 11 fours and a boundary in his undefeated 71 and Morgan was 52 not out, including nine boundaries.

Last pair hold out at Pill Parks
Llangwm (175 for 9) drew with Whitland (195 all out)
Umpires: Steve Blowes & Rob Elliott
Scorers: Janice Brick & Janice Webb
There was high drama at the end of this match as Llangwm’s last pair of Phil Llewellyn and Toby Asson held on over the last few balls to deny Whitland victory as fielder clustered around them seeking a catch.
Whitland rattled up us a healthy 195 all out but Llangwm might consider that final score something of a comeback as the visitors stood at 119 without loss, thanks to Dai Lee (78) and new recruit Wayne Howells (43) but only Dylan Blain (35) ever looked settled thereafter as Chris Inward fought back well for final figures 05 5 for 53, assisted by Andrew Harries (3 for 46) and Matthew Kiff (1 for 40).
When Llangwm batted, skipper Joe Kiff (54) and Chris Inward (55) batted well for them and there was 22 for Chris Thomas against tight bowling by Mark Lee (1 for 18) and Dan James (2 for 28) alongside Wayne Howells (4 for 56) and Iestyn Scourfield (2 for 56).
But they were unable to shift the Llangwm youngsters and so a draw was the final verdict, with both teams looking back at chances missed during the afternoon.
