Cresselly big score possible until rain intervenes
Haverfordwest 2nds v Cresselly 2nds 90 for 1 – Match abandoned
Umpires: Trefor Evans & Robert Ridge
Scorers: Natalie Thomas & Des Brace
Cresselly Seconds made a good start on The Racecourse against their counterparts from Haverfordwest but just when it looked as if a big score was in prospect so the weather intervened and left umpires Trefor Evans and Robert Ridge with no option but to abandon the game after 21 overs had been bowled.
Rhydian Rees looked in good nick until he’s reached 17 but then chipped a catch to Kern Cunningham off the bowling of Sean Williams, with the score on 37.
But then opening partner Scott Arthur was joined by Neal Williams and both had reached 25 not out before the weather ruined their hopes of a sizeable target.

Kilgetty v Pembroke (63 for 1) - Match abandoned
Umpire: Steve Blowes
Scorer: Hazel Poole (Kilgetty)
Pembroke were nicely poised on 62 for 1 at Kingsmoor before rain swept back in and after 18 overs the game had to be abandoned by umpire Steve Blowes, who took the sensible option that play was no longer possible at a time when Kilgetty were also very much still in contention.
Kilgetty had shifted Pembroke’s obdurate opener Barry Evans, caught for 10 by Anthony Bevan off Grant Hardy, but young fellow opener Jack Harries looked in fine fettle with three fours in his undefeated 24, assisted by skipper Paul White (8 not out), in advancing the score until both teams
had to trudge back into the changing rooms to escape the unkind weather.

Openers give leaders Narberth a solid start
Burton v Narberth (46 for 0) – Match abandoned
Umpire: Allan Hansen
Scorers: Dennis Venables & Emma Griffiths
League leaders Narberth got off to a very good start at Oatfield Park against Burton but were prevented by the weather from continuing their unbeaten run.
Experienced opener Ritchie Adams scored 19 not out and younger colleague Jordan Howell added 20 not out as Narberth reached 46 without loss but as the weather worsened umpire Allan Hansen sensibly sent both teams to the changing rooms in the hope that it might ease – but he had no option but to abandon play when it became obvious that the rain was in for a considerable time.
