Kilgetty battle to excellent victory
Kilgetty (214 for 4) beat Haverfordwest 2nds (213 for 8) by 6 wickets
Umpires: Mervyn John & Rob Elliott
Scorers: Hazel Poole & Natalie Thomas
Kilgetty showed excellent powers of concentration, able led by veteran batsman Peter Hall, to successfully chase down Haverfordwest 2nds’ big score with six wickets and almost five overs to spare.
Charlie Clinton (67, including eight fours and a six) led The Town batting with his first half century for the second string, with Kern Cunningham (22), Jonathan Twigg (21), Dan Cole (20) and Ashley James (20 not out) the other main scorers against Kyle Marsh (3 for 47), Toby Poole (3 for 71), Kurtis Marsh (1 for 25) and Grant Hardy (1 for 44).
But Peter Hall (now well past his 65th birthday and going almost as strong as ever) topped the home batting with six boundaries in his 51 alongside Jake Marsh (eight fours in 43) before talented teenagers Liam Cullen (38 not out) and Jack Parkinson (39 not out) shared an unbroken 66 stand so that although James Morris (3 for 49) and Simon Williams (1 for 44) bowled quite well for The Town reserves it was Kilgetty who claimed a deserved win.
Narberth lose unbeaten tag as skipper Wayne leads the way
Narberth (162 all out) lost to Whitland 2nds (214 for 9) by 52 runs
Umpires: Rob Cousins & Tony ScourfieldScorers: Emma Richards & Ann-Marie Jenkins
A sparkling 93 not out by team captain Wayne Jones helped Whitland 2nds create the surprise result of the day in Division Two as they travelled to the Lewis Lloyd Ground and took away Narberth’s undefeated record.
Jones rasped 10 fours and four sixes before he ran out of overs with a century in sight, ably assisted by Dai Lee (29), Martin Thomas (22) and Paul Webb (14).
For Narberth, skipper Ben Quartermaine led the way with 4 for 54 alongside Kamal Sharma (2 for 50), Jordan Howell (1 for 50) and Ben Hughes (1 for 32) but they couldn’t prevent Whitland sailing past the 200 mark.
Ritchie Adams was in good form for Narberth as he stroked 13 boundaries in his 89 but was then clean bowled by Geraint Phillips, who had figures of 2 for 46 in conjunction with Connor Bowen (an excellent haul of 4 for 22), Paul Webb (2 for 38), Raff Williams (1 for 24) and Stuart Harries (1 for 30).
Howell (14), Owen Richards (12) and Sharma (20 not out) were the only other Narberth batsmen to manage double figures and although they stay well clear at the top of the table they will have been disappointed by this display.

Battling Camrose make it two wins on the trot
Camrose (125 for 4) beat Burton (124 all out) by 6 wickets
Umpires: Glyn Pawlett & Dai MorrisScorer: Mark Venables (Burton)
Camrose were able to celebrate their second win in succession as their all-round performance not only earned them victory over Burton but hauled them closer to other clubs in the relegation battle, whilst sucking Burton into the danger zone.

Chasing a target of 125 runs for victory, Camrose were soon under way via Matthew Davies (23), Venables (24) and Aled Thomas (17) before Dan Wilks showed his quality batting with 41 not out that proved decisive, despite the Burton bowling efforts of skipper Morgan Scale (2 for 22), Williams (1 for 15) and Jack Davies (1 for 22).

Cresselly 2nds too streetwise for Seasiders
Saundersfoot (140 all out) lost to Cresselly 2nds (141 for 3) by 7 wickets
Umpires: John Williams & Neil Croucher
Scorers: Adge John & Des Brace
The Seasiders batted first and their 140 total owed much to the experienced Steve Cook, whose 60 contained eight fours and a six, with support from youngsters Jon Mansbridge (22) and Sam Franklyn as the wickets were shared for Cresselly by Matthew Webb (3 for 40), Sam Harts (3 for 25) and Matthew Lewis (3 for 49).
Then the experience kicked in again after tea for Cresselly as Scott Arthur hit eight fours and a six in his 46 and there was 14 for Rhydian Rees before Neal Williams (12 boundaries in his 55 not out) was joined by skipper Richard Harris, who celebrated his 50th appearance for the Welsh Veterans in midweek, chipping in with 11 not out in seeing Cresselly home in relative ease, despite the efforts of Franklyn (2 for 42) and Neil Powling (1 for 26) for Saundersfoot with the ball.
