Cresselly Seconds are deserved runners-up
Burton (141 for 9) lost to Cresselly 2nds (145 for 7) by 3 wickets

Scorers: Mark Venables & Des Brace
Cresselly Seconds secured second spot in the section table as a result of this three-wicket win against Burton at Oatfield Park.
Burton decided to bat first and had cameos from Toby Hayman (13), Richard Jones (13), and Iestyn Evans (17) which helped Jack Davies (37) take the home side to 141 for 9 as Matthew Lewis again proved to be the most successful Cresselly bowler with 4 for 28, assisted by Lyn Richards (2 for 25), Tom Arthur (1 for 23) and Richard Harris 1-23.
Still needing two points to confirm their runner-up status, Cresselly batted sensibly before good innings by Alex Bailey (40) and Matthew Webb (37) set them well on the road to victory. Lyn Richards (18), Nick Davies (17) and Rhydian Rees (14) also provided cameos so that although there were Burton wickets for the in-form Jack Davies (2 for 36), his younger brother James (1 for 15), Luke Hayman (1 for 6), Johnny Scale (1 for 17) and Richard Jones (1 for 1) it was Cresselly Seconds who took the verdict – and the runners-up mementoes!

Town Seconds retain second division status
Haverfordwest 2nds (189 for 8) beat Saundersfoot (70 all out)
Umpires: Les Hastings & Tony Waldeis
Scorers: Graham Morris & Adge John
Haverfordwest Seconds retained their second division status at the expense of Saundersfoot in a straight-forward shoot-out between two sides left stranded after the demise of Camrose had meant a points’ reshuffle.
Haverfordwest Seconds found it extremely hard going on a dampish pitch after Saundersfoot had asked them to bat first in this relegation decider – and could muster a tally of only 21 for 1 in 17 overs before veteran Phil Kirkby and talented youngster Dan Cole changed the balance in a productive partnership of 124 before Kirkby was dismissed for a fine 65 that included nine fours and two sixes.
Dan Cole maintained the momentum with seven fours and two sixes in his splendid innings of 77 before he was well caught by Paul Mansbridge off Neil Powling, whose figures of 5 for 34 showed he has lost none of his bowling flair.
Nigel Morgan marked his final match after such good service to local cricket with 15 runs and The Town would have been pleased with their final total of 189 for 8 as Dickie Parcell picked up 1 for 32 and talented teenager Tom Mansbridge confirmed his genuine potential with 2 for 31 as reward for his accuracy.
Paul Mansbridge (18), Sam Franklyn (18) and Simon Stanford (10) were the only Saundersfoot batsmen able to manage double figures as home skipper James Morris spear-headed their attack with 4 for 27 alongside Josh Wilment (2 for 19) and Simon Williams (2 for 15), plus a typical signing-off success by Nigel Morgan (2 for 3) sent the Seasiders tumbling to their second relegation in successive seasons.
