The annual cricket club BBQ for St Ishmaels C.C. was recently held at the St Ishmaels Sports & Social Club, where the 2015 awards were presented - and the catering was expertly carried out again by our Tish
ladies, Alison and Debbie, and was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by everyone present.Club chairman, Rob Cockburn welcomed all present and then mentioned all our new signings and thanked everyone for their help throughout the season especially our grounds men, Kevin Bowen, Mel Williams and Chris Bradshaw. Thanks were also given the volunteers who gave our changing room facilities a much needed facelift.

2nd team captain, gave their résumé of the season’s performances. Both captains were satisfied with their final League positions in their respective Divisions as it has been a difficult season with player injuries and unavailability due to work commitments.

The Captains and committee members recorded their thanks to those who gave the raffle prizes, the caterers, all the ladies who provided excellent teas throughout the 2015 season, the club steward and bar staff and to our very generous sponsors, without whom we could not exist. Bouquets were presented to Mandy Bowen, Pat Williams & Wendy Bradshaw.
