Another useful innings by Adam Chandler who scored 66 runs or Cresselly

Scorers: Teagan Cartwright & Malcolm Thomas
Adam Chandler continued his excellent run of good form for the home team as he scored 66 and seemed on his way to another unbeaten innings when he momentarily relaxed and paid the price, having stroked six fours and a six.
Phil Williams and Alex Bailey both contributed 31 runs, with Bailey rasping a lovely straight six, with other cameos from Sam Harts (26) and Ryan Lewis (23) in a challenging final tally of 214 all out.
For Lawrenny, the wickets were shared amongst Rob Williams (2 for 37), Jamie Lewis (3 for 42), Brad McDermott-Jenkins (1-41), Harry Thomas (1 for 37) and Simon ‘Chief’ Cole (3 for 46).
Julian Arthur top-scored for Lawrenny against his old team mates, scoring 39 (three fours and three sixes), assisted by Rob Williams (two sixes in his 24) and Harry Thomas (19) but an excellent 5 for 32 haul in his 12 overs by Tom Arthur kept the pressure on, with Ryan Lewis (3 for 49) chipping in before Shaw’s late success raised their hopes by Lawrenny held on against their near neighbours.

Neyland go joint top at Llandigige Fawr
Llanrhian (141 all out) lost to Neyland (263 for 6 declared in 41 overs) by 122 runs
Umpires: Les Hastings & Arthur Brady
Scorer: John Laugharne
His confidence in his bowling attack was then repaid as Llanrhian could only manage 141 all out against a very young Neyland team in which Patrick Hannon was the eldest at 28 years of age, followed by his twin brother Sean, who is some 20 minutes younger!
Nick Koomen’s aggressive 52 contained six fours and three sixes alongside Ashley Sutton’s powerful 56 (five fours and three sixes) whilst Nathan Banner (42) and Patrick Bellerby (37) had boundary-strewn innings alongside other cameos by Scott Jones (22) and Henry Durrant (19 not out).
Jack Jones (2 for 63), Luke Jones (1 for 59) and Dafydd Williams (1 for 54) were the Llanrhian wicket-takers, along with two run outs.
But after tea the Neyland attack was soon on top despite a big-hitting 68 by Ben Jones (seven fours and five sixes), with only Andrew Price (16) managing double figures as Nathan Banner (4 for 24) and Scott Jones (4 for 43) were joined by Geraint Rees (1 for 22) in sending Neyland to the top and keeping Llanrhian firmly at the other end of the table!
