Carew Seconds stay top of the table
Hook (150 all out) lost to Carew 2nds (153 for 2) by 8 wickets
Umpires: Rob Couzens & Rob Elliott
Scorers: Joy James & Scott Richards
Noah Davies (28), Jacob Lay (12), Jake Wicks (39) and Bradley Flood (27 not out) were the main batsmen for Hook but a couple of unnecessary run outs cost them as Carew fielded well in support of James Hinchliffe (5 for 33), Joel Read (1 for 34), Iori Hicks (1 for 24) and Harry Cook (1 for 23).
Then Hinchcliffe completed a good day with 25 runs as wicket-keeper Dafydd Bevan struck 11 fours and a six in a cracking innings before Max Brindley (13 not out) and relative ‘old timer’ Haydn Shapcott (29 not out) led Carew home.

Luke Hayman struck a useful 40 runs for Burton
Jones helps Burton have the better of high-scoring draw
Burton (223 all out) drew with Pembroke (200 for 8)
Umpires: Mervyn John & Tony Waldeis
Scorer: Dennis Venables (Burton)
Richard Jones produced an excellent all-round performance to help guide Burton to gaining much better of the draw against Pembroke at Oatfield Park.
Jones, clearly enjoying his cricket after a stint in New Zealand, led the Burton batting as he blitzed a typically powerful 66 to get the innings off to a flying start which was maintained by Luke Hayman (40), James Davies (34) and Dan Wilks.
Colin James (3 for 31), Billy Woods (2 for 57) and Sam Davies (1 for 30) were the pick of the Pembroke bowlers as Burton set them a huge target to try and reach.
Phil Hay maintained his recent run of good form with top score of 82 for Pembroke, supported by Jack Harries (30) and charismatic captain Paul White (39), but tight spells from James Scale (3 for 39) and the ubiquitous Richard Jones (3 for 33) made sure that the visitors were never quite up to the required scoring rate and settled for the draw which keeps them firmly in second place.

Llewellyn leads Llangwm to excellent away win
Stackpole (201 for 9) lost to Llangwm (205 for 7) by 3 wickets
A classy innings of 71 not out by Phil Llewellyn helped Llangwm win well at Stackpole in a high-scoring contest which produced over 400 runs before the visitors eased through by three wickets.
The home side batted first and their tally of 201 for 9 owed much to Huw Cox’s 81 and 41 from the big-hitting John Williams as Chris Inward was the pick of the Llangwm bowlers with a 4 for 34 haul as Andrew Harries also picked up three wickets.
Cox also grabbed 3 for 20 to complete a good personal performance but Llewellyn’s fine knock, allied to 49 from the experienced Andrew Harries, was enough to seal success for Joe Kiff’s boys!
