Home skipper Richard Harris brought back memories of his glory days with Burton and Cresselly as he led his team’s tally of 185 for 8 with a terrific boundary-sprinkled innings of 93 and a deserved century seemed on the cards until he was bowled by Tom Pearse, who also shifted John Arthur (19) in his 2 for 28 haul alongside Ashley James (1 for 20), James White (2 for 37) and Lewis Rhead (1 for 22) – with a third old-timer in Phil James also chipping in with a brisk 16.
But then Cole took his team to what looked a sizeable challenge before Mark Stobbs (33 not out), Sean Williams (23) and Dan Field (26 not out) despite Cresselly skipper Harris completing a god individual performance with a 2 for 30 haul.
