Llangwm win with ease after Whitland batting collapse
Llangwm (84 for 1) beat Whitland 2nds (82 all out) by 9 wickets
Umpires: Denis Chiffi & Jonathan Willington
Scorer: Rob Benjamin (Whitland)
Llangwm strolled to an easy nine-wicket win after a dramatic batting collapse saw Whitland Seconds collapse from a decent 71 for 1 to a disastrous 82 all out as they were bamboozled by home ‘spin twins’ Phil Llewellyn (4 for 14) and Andrew Harries (3 for 18), supported by Matthew Kiff’s earlier 1 for 32.
Dai Lee (19) and Geraint Phillips (two sixes in his 22) got Whitland off to a useful start which was continued by skipper Wayne Jones (four fours and two sixes in his 35) before he was run out.
But then batsmen queued up to get out to Messrs Llewellyn and Harries and Llangwm raced to victory as Will Beresford and Huw Brock (18 not out) took the Pill Parks Boys to within ten runs of success before the former player hooked an innocuous short-pitched ball from Gethin Scourfield and was caught at square leg for a classy 57 that contained eight fours and two sixes.
Pembroke retain top spot in the table
Pembroke (197 for 4) beat Hook (194 for 9) by 6 wickets
Umpire: Arthur Brady
Tom Blaxland (44) and Aled Phelps (38) helped the visitors to a healthy total of 194 for 9 against the bowling of Sam Davies (2 for 44), Andrew Hay (2 for 22) and Lewys Wilks (2 for 37).
Pembroke’s doughty opener Barry Evans put his wealth of experience to good effect with top score of 60 alongside opening partner Jack Harries’ (18), followed by influential skipper Paul White, who chipped in with 46 before Jonathan Rogers (19 not out) and Billy Wood (18 not out) saw Pembroke home with overs and wickets to spare despite useful bowling from Hook teenagers Callum James (2 for 19) and Noah Davies (1 for 29).

Paul Tough scored 71 runs for Haverfordwest 2nds
Skipper Dai steers Carew home
Haverfordwest 2nds (214 for 8) lost to Carew 2nds (215 for 6) by 4 wickets
Umpires: Les Hastings
Scorer: Kelly Williams
Carew 2nds skipper Dai Rees was the toast of his colleagues as his undefeated 78 (five fours and four sixes) helped defeat their counterparts from Haverfordwest in a high-scoring tussle at The Racecourse.
Put in to bat first, Haverfordwest started really well with a stand of 132 between Paul Tough and Jonathan Twigg in 30 overs before Tough departed for a hard-hitting 71 (seven boundaries) and skipper Twigg fell soon afterwards for 73 (11 fours and a six), both wickets claimed by Max Brindley (2 for 38), who bowled alongside Harry Cook (2 for 51), Luke Hicks 2-29 and Haydn Shapcott (2 for 14).
Sean Williams chipped in with 15 not out and there were 17 extras as The Town reached a big score of 214 for 8 but might have had a few more had they not lost wickets in the late run chase.
Luke Hicks (65 including three fours and four sixes) joined Haydn Shapcott (30) in giving Carew’s reply a solid footing and then Rees made Haverfordwest regret two dropped catches as his powerful hitting took Carew to a deserved win, despite the bowling efforts of Haverfordwest’s Kieran O’Connor (3 for 58), Simon Williams (1 for 26), Sean Williams (1 for 30) and Josh Wilment (1 for 36).
Kurtis kills off Stackpole hopes
Kilgetty (169 for 3) beat Stackpole (168 all out) by 7 wickets
Umpires: Huw Davies & Mervyn John
Scorers: Hazel Poole & Claire Cox
Kurtis Marsh was the undoubted star of Kilgetty’s excellent victory over Stackpole as the talented young all-rounder celebrated his recently-reached 18th birthday with a five wicket haul and then a superb undefeated 90 to keep his side handily placed in the promotion stakes.
Richard Gibby (31), Simon Bevan (43) and James Adie (13) helped take Stackpole beyond the three-figure mark before Richard Mackay maintained his good form with a powerful undefeated 40 against Toby Poole (1 for 35), Kyle Marsh (2 for 36), Ross Hardy (1 for 28) and especially Kurtis Marsh, whose canny slow stuff earned him deserved figures of 5 for 36.
Then Kurtis Marsh struck his boundary-laden 90 and with support from Ross hardy (41) and Kyle Marsh (11) Kilgetty reached their target in only 28.3 overs as Lewys Gibby, Richard Mackay and Simon Bevan claimed a wicket apiece for the losers.

Umpire: Richard Merriman
James Davies (42), Toby Hayman (59) and Richard Jones (40) were the principal run gatherers for Burton as Lyn Richards and Richard Arthur shared four wickets for Cresselly.
Jones showed his all-round ability in the Burton cause with 2 for 30 alongside John Scale (2 for 22) as Cresselly captain Richard Harris maintained his good form with top score of 74 but only Adam Hart (18) ever stayed long in support.
