Nick Koomen guided Neyland to victory with an excellent innings of 64 no out
Leaders Neyland stroll to victory
Neyland (84 for 0) beat Lawrenny (81 all out) by 10 wickets
Umpires: Ian Phillips & Dai Morris
Scorers: John Laugharne & Malcolm Thomas
Neyland showed just why they are clear section leaders with a crushing ten-wicket success over a Lawrenny side which was never in with a chance of success after losing early wickets, collapsing to 81 all out and then being smashed all around the field by home openers Nick Koomen and Patrick Bellerby.
Only Steve Campbell (25) managed double figures for Lawrenny as Henry Durrant claimed 3 for 15 and Andrew Miller bamboozled the rest of their batsmen as his slow stuff earned him impressive figures of 5 for 20. There was also a wicket apiece for Nick Koomen and Scott Jones before both teams took an early tea.
Koomen was in rampant mood as he sped past 900 runs for the season with an undefeated 64 that contained ten fours from some lovely shots – and Bellerby supported with 16 not out as Neyland took fewer than 13 overs to reach their lowly target.

Carew battle their way to deserved local derby win
Cresselly (111 all out) lost to Carew (112 for 4) by 6 wickets
Umpires: Dave Brandon & Steve Blowes
Scorers: Teagan Cartwright & Julie Davies
Matches between these near neighbours and old rivals are traditionally hard fought and this latest tussle at Cresselly was no exception before Carew were worthy winners by six wickets.
Put in to bat, Cresselly found it hard going against a varied Carew attack so that only Adam Chandler (22), Phil Williams (19), Simon Cole (35) and Alex Bailey (12) ever stayed long against Tom Davies (3 for 24), Sean Whitfield (2 for 13, Iori Hicks 2-26 and Ceri Brace (3 for 15), assisted by two excellent catches by skipper Rhys Davies and another by Nick Scourfield.
It seemed a target that wouldn’t challenge Carew’s powerful batting line-up but they faced an immediate crisis after tea when Ian Sefton and Tom Scourfield departed before there was a run on the board.
But Nick Scourfield steadied the Carew ship with 25 runs, assisted by Tom Davies; before Brian Hall rapped five fours in a match-winning 48 not out as Rhys Davies was also unbeaten on 11 so that Carew reached their target for victory in 36.1 overs, despite the efforts of home bowlers Sam Harts (2 for 31), Tom Arthur (1 for 27) and Ryan Lewis (1 for 22).

Narberth batting collapses in the Lewis Lloyd Ground
Narberth (73 all out) lost to Haverfordwest (195 for 8) by 122 runs
Umpires: Les Hastings & Denis Chiffi
Scorers: Richard Howell & Jayne Cole
Haverfordwest struggled at the outset as they were reduced to 71 for 4 having used up two thirds of their allotted 45 over but Ben Field provided the backbone to The Town’s innings with a sparkling 82 which contained nine fours and six big sixes, including the last three on the trot in the final over before he was caught attempting another!
Giving him support against Ben Quartermaine (4 for 34) and Ben Hughes (3 for 72) were Gareth Davies (36) and Dan Cole who scored 40 and shared a partnership of 90 with Field that took their side to a challenging 195 for 8.
That tally soon assumed mountainous proportions against Adam James (3 for 29) and Josh Wilment (2 for 16) before left-arm spinners Gareth Davies and Simon Holliday returned identical figures of 2 for 16 to help shoot out Narberth, for whom only Owen Richards (29) and Richard Bevan (17) managed double figures.

Glebelands Gang continue to suffer
St Ishmaels (84 for 0) beat Johnston (81 all out) by 10 wickets
Umpires: Trefor Evans & Huw Davies
Scorers: Wendy Bradshaw & Natalie Thomas
Johnston’s score was all the more perplexing for a potentially useful batting side because Steve Mills struck seven fours and a six in his 47, the only batsman to reach double figures against the bowling of Dean John (3 for 24), Andrew Palmer (2 for 40), Brennan Devonald (2 for 16) and Andrew Pawlett (3 for 1).
Then talented teenager Dan Richards showed the visitors how to bat with a hard-hitting 52 (nine boundaries) and Peter Bradshaw used his experience to good effect in support with five fours in his undefeated 28 that helped Tish to a very early finish!

Thomas takes Whitland to narrow win at Llandigige Fawr
Llanrhian (162 all out) lost to Whitland (164 for 8) by 2 wickets
Umpires: Allan Hanson & Rob Bellerby
Scorer: Anne-Marie Jenkins (Whitland)
A sparkling innings of 76 not out by Jonathan Thomas helped Whitland ease their way to a two-wicket success over basement battlers Llanrhian at Llandigige Fawr.
Geraint Morris batted at No 5 for Llanrhian and top scored with 55 (seven fours and two sixes), with support from Richard Read (36), Paul Lewis (27) and Ben Jones (20) helped take the home side to a useful final tally.
For Whitland, skipper Iestyn Scourfield led by example with a 4 for 33 haul, supported by Wayne Howells (2 for 32), Greg Sleep (1 for 43), Jonathan Thomas (1 for 23) and Matthew Davies (1 for 14).
Matthew Bennet (2 for 34), Jack Jones (3 for 57), Luke Jones (1 for 37) and Tom Dunn (1 for 32) bowled well for Llanrhian when Whitland batted but Nathan Evans (22), Iestyn Scourfield (21) and Scott Newton (18) gave support to Thomas, who stroked 12 fours and a six to steer his side home with a couple of wickets and overs to spare.
