Neyland take a step closer to the title
St Ishmaels (170 for 8) lost to Neyland (171 for 6) by 4 wickets
Umpires: Huw Davies & Richard Merriman
Scorers: Wendy Bradshaw & John Laugharne
Neyland took a giant step closer to the Division One silverware as they successfully chased down a challenging total set by St Ishmaels with four wickets and nine balls in hand.
Tish's tally of 170 for 8 owed much to a late innings of 38 not out from the in-form Andrew Palmer, assisted by solid knocks from Peter Bradshaw (19), Phil Cockburn (14), Andrew Williams (14), Brennan Devonald (21) and Andrew Pawlett (32) against the bowling of Henry Durrant (3 for 33), Patrick Hannon (1 for 27), Nick Koomen (1 for 37), Geraint Rees (1 for 8) and Gary Lloyd (1 for 54).
Scott John continued his excellent return to action with 39 early runs despite Andrew Palmer claiming 3 for 4 from his first over with the prize scalps of Nick Koomen (4), Ashley Sutton (0) and Geraint Rees (0) but finished with 3 for 33 alongside Andrew Pawlett (1 for 37) as Gregg Miller stroked a splendid 81 and found the necessary support from Henry Durrant (15 not out) in seeing Neyland now just two matches away from the title!

The Town dampen Johnston's hopes of safety
Haverfordwest (197 for 2) beat Johnston (196 all out) by 8 wickets
Scorers: Jayne Cole & Natalie Thomas
Johnston's hopes of avoiding relegation looked stronger at tea as they managed to score a healthy total of 196 all out against second-placed Haverfordwest but used only 39.4 of their allotted 45 overs - and The Town had little trouble in claiming a comfortable win as they reached their target with eight wickets and overs aplenty in hand.
Dan Sutton (55) and Steve Mills (78) shared a three-figure opening partnership and were as usual the principal run-gatherers for the Glebelands Gang against Adam James (3 for 46) and Simon Holliday (4 for 43) but no-one else ever stayed long enough so that 32 deliveries went unused and could have been used by The Town had they been needed.
When Haverfordwest batted the only Johnston wicket-takers were Mills (1 for 39) and Kevin Roberts (1 for 15) as skipper Danny Potter led his side by example with a boundary-laden 87, ably assisted by Dai Davies (55) and Nikhil Mathias (39) to leave Johnston still looking for the vital victories to keep them safe.
Whitland struggle to score enough runs
Carew (116 for 5) beat Whitland (112 all out) by 5 wickets
Umpires: Dave Brandon & Dai Morris
Scorers: Ann-Marie Jenkins & Julie Davies
Whitland paid the price for failing to score enough runs as they went down to defeat against a determined Carew side which bowled and fielded well to restrict the opposition and then eased home for the loss of five wickets.
Whitland batted first and could only muster a disappointing 112 all out as only Geraint Jones (24), Paul Davies (20) and skipper Iestyn Scourfield (21) ever stayed long against talented youngster Iori Hicks (3 for 10), Tom Davies (3 for 31) and Neil Gregory (2 for 26).
Sean Whitfield led the Carew counter with a typically attacking 51 and was supported by Tom Davies (23) so that although Geraint Jones (2 for 29) and Jonathan Thomas (2 for 16) bowled decent spells for The Borderers it was Carew who were good value for victory.

Nine-man Narberth go down to heavy defeat
Cresselly (172 for 2) beat Narberth (171 for 6) by 8 wickets
Umpires: Allan Hansen
Scorers: Teagan Cartwright & Emma Richards
Narberth went down to almost-inevitable defeat against Cresselly as they were forced to play with nine players after the non-arrival of two players so that although they scored a decent total in their allotted 45 overs it only took the opposition 20 overs to reach their target as Narberth were unable to plug gaps in the field.
Narberth's tally owed much to Jordan Howell (44), Ben Hughes (29) and skipper Ben Quartermaine (51) as Ryan Lewis grabbed 3 for 39 in his 12 overs alongside Ollie Richards (2 for 52) and Tom Arthur (1 for 25) bowling for Cresselly.
When Cresselly batted after tea they had a dynamic start via Adam Chandler and Iwan Izzard, who blitzed 62 before he was bowled by Quartermaine as Chandler stroked a terrific undefeated 85 that was liberally sprinkled with boundaries before he was joined by Phil Williams in strolling to an easy win as Narberth continue their worrying drop down the section table.
Lawrenny stroll to easy win
Lawrenny (141 for 2) beat Llanrhian (139 all out) by 8 wickets
Umpires: Trefor Evans & Simon Richards
Scorer: Malcolm Thomas (Lawrenny)
Llanrhian's sorry season continued at Lawrenny when only Geraint Morris (60 not out) and Dominic Wright (33) batted with any conviction as Rob Williams bowled superbly for his 6 for 48 figures.
As a result the homesters had little pressure on them to stroll to victory with Harry Thomas showing his batting skills with a boundary-laden 71 not out alongside Steve Campbell (32).
