Llangwm widen the gap at the top
Burton (118 all out) lost to Llangwm (120 for 2) by 8 wickets
Umpire: Tony Waldeis
Scorers: Dennis Venables & Janice Brick
Llangwm increased their lead at the top of the table with this convincing local-derby win over Burton at Oatfield Park as they had the home side under pressure from the outset and never relaxed their tweezer grip.
Asked to bat first, Burton found it hard going early on against Matthew Kiff, who bowled better than his 3 for 43 return might suggest, supported by Noah Davies (3 for 26), and Ollie Davies (3 for 28), with Jack Davies (12), Luke Hayman (20), Jonathan Venables (15) and Will Ridge (13) staying long enough to manage double figures until regular opener James Davies came in at No 8 and found a willing last-wicket ally in Johnny Scale as they shared a stand of 25, with Davies stroking some lovely shots through the covers en route to top score of 28 not out.
Llangwm were also on top in the batting as Noah Davies (24) shared an opening partnership of 93 with Will Beresford, who struck 12 fours and a six in his usual hard-hitting style to end up with 74 not out.
James Venables also chipped in with 15 against Luke Hayman (1 for 21) and Aled Thomas (1 for 5) but Joseph Kiff was the other not out Llangwm batsman as they eased home by eight wickets in only 21 overs.
Town Seconds bounce back to winning ways
Haverfordwest 2nds (165 for 6) beat Stackpole (164 for 8) by 4 wickets
Umpires: Les Hastings & Bob Elliott
Scorers: Kelly Williams & Clare Cox
Haverfordwest Seconds gained a much-needed win in their bottom-four tussle with Stackpole on The Racecourse as Lewis Rhead led their bowling attack well and Filgi Varghese’s batting helped take them home.
Josh Davies (25) and Rob Mathias (11) supplied a solid start for Stackpole before there were quick runs for John Williams (40) and Simon Bevans (48), who both struck five fours and a six.
Rhead was the stand-out bowler for Haverfordwest Seconds as his canny slow stuff earned him deserved figures of 4 for 36, assisted by skipper Simon Williams (1 for 33), Clive Tucker (1 for 42), Ashley James (1 for 34) and Owen Jones (1 for 19).
Varghese then hit 11 boundaries in his classy 65, with support from Karl Rhead (22) before a late 38 not out from George Thomas which contained two sixes and three fours, saw Haverfordwest to victory, despite the bowling of Marcus Adie (1 for 26), James Adie (2 for 50) and Anthony Canton (3 for 38).

Llanrhian hold on for a ‘tame’ draw

Umpires: Steve Blowes & Richard Scriven
John Curran was back for Llechryd with another powerful inning of 55 alongside Michael Carter (32), Ollie Roberts (35), James Betterley (22) and Leighton O’Connor (27 not out) despite the bowling of Jack Jones (5 for 72) and Matthew Bennett (1 for 47) as the main Llanrhian bowlers.
Ben Jones (20) and Jack Jones (25) were the early contributors for Llanrhian after tea but from then on only skipper Reed looked comfortable against Graham Keen (2 for 47), Peter Betterley (3 for 23) and John Curran (3 for 22), hitting ten boundaries in his undefeated 64.

Umpire: Dave Brandon
Scorers: Rhian Howell, Gary Hughes & Idwal Vincent (all Carew)
Robbie Hicks put his wealth of experience to good effect as he topped the Carew batting with 50, assisted by skipper Dai Rees (40), Mark Hicks (20), Jacob Knox (19) and Kerry Waters (18 not out) as they ended their 45 overs on 210 for 9 wickets.
Ben Quartermaine (3 for 57), Ben Hughes (2 for 35), Davey Johns (1 for 24) and Owen Richards (3 for 15) were the successful Narberth bowlers.
Richard Adams was again top scorer for the home side with a boundary-sprinkled 66 alongside Kyle Quartermaine (26), Davy Johns (12), Matthew Johns (10) and Ben Hughes (35 not out).
But they were unable to sustain the necessary batting tempo against James Hinchliffe (2 for 50), Harry Cook (1 for 38) and Haydn Shapcott (1 for 46) as Carew Seconds picked up the bulk of the points for their performance.

Umpires: Allan Hansen & Mervyn John
Scorers: Adge John & Jenny Davies-Scourfield
Put in to bat first, Whitland had useful contributions from Dai Lee (45), Geraint Phillips (23) and Jack Bowen (45) before an excellent 56 not out from Martin Thomas took them to a challenging score, despite the bowling efforts of Naveed Kawale (2 for 29), Sam Franklin (2 for 40), Tom Mansbridge (2 for 44) and Neil Powling (2 for 52).
Skipper Sam Franklin batted well for Saundersfoot with 32 runs, as did his brother Jack (47) well supported by Sam Stanford (42) as the main run-getters against Geraint Phillips (4 for 47), Connor Bowen (1 for 46), Ben Harvey (2 for 33), and Martin Thomas (2 for 66) as they picked up maximum points as they reward.
