Hicks and Shapcott guide Rooks to easy win
Carew ll (243 for 2) beat Haverfordwest ll (118 all out)
Carew Seconds were too good for Haverfordwest Seconds, The Rooks winning by a comfortable 125 runs margin at home.
The highlight of Carew’s batting was a sublime innings of 91 from Robbie Hicks, the former Welsh international found an alley in Haydn Shapcott (70 not out) and also Scott Richards (25) who kept the scoreboard ticking, as the hosts finished on a massive 223 for 2.
The visitors found the going tough in their reply, with only Max Rodrigues (24) and Aaron Roulstone (23) scoring runs, with Jacob Knox bowling superbly for (5 for 7) and Shapcott took (2 for 12) as the Rooks’ Seconds string gained maximum 30 points for their whole hearted efforts.
Six-wicket success for league leaders
Llangwm (118 for) beat Saundersfoot (111 all out)
League leaders Llangwm gained a comfortable six-wicket win against Saundersfoot at Pill Parks.
The visitors opened the batting, Sam Franklin (39, seven fours and a six), and teenager John Mansbridge (32, two fours) ever looked comfortable as Chris Inward (5 for 36) returned to the fold and took an impressive four wickets in his last over to mop up the tail as the visitors finished 111 all out in the 28th over. Llangwm’s Phil Llewellyn (2 for 15) and Luke Brock (2 for 37) also took wickets.
In reply, Noah Davies (49 not out, six fours and a six) alongside Will Beresford (24, four fours and a six), guided Llangwm to victory in just 22 overs.
Neil Powling (1 for 10) and Sam Franklin (1 for 15) took a wicket each for the visitors.

Curran leads Llechryd to the spoils
Llechryd (152 for 8) beat Narberth (151 all out)
Second in the table Narberth lost by two wickets in an exciting clash at third placed Llechryd.
The home side’s Leighton O’Connor (3 for 28) and Peter Betterley (2 for 18) bowled superbly with the visitors finishing on 151 all out, with Richie Adams (20), Kyle Quartermaine (30), Jordan Howell 10, Loui Davies (27) and Owen Richards (15 not out) reaching double figures.
John Curran (43) led Llechryd’s successful reply alongside Mike Carter (31) with Narberth’s Loui Davie (2-25) and Owen Richards (2 for 24) taking wickets for the visitors who only picked up seven points in defeat whilst the hosts claimed 28 points.
Jack shows his class with bat and ball
Stackpole (90 all out) lost to Llanrhian (183 for 4)
Llanrhian deservedly won by six wickets against fellow basement battlers Stackpole.
Jack Jones (97 not out) was in terrific form and finished just three runs short of a century, he found excellent support through Paul Lewis (42) as the innings closed on 183 for 4, with Simon Bevan (2 for 21) taking wickets for the home team.
Llanrhian bowled brilliantly in reply with man of the match Jack Jones (4 for 48) and Tom Clarke (4 for 17) taking four wickets each as Stackpole finished 103 runs short.
Venables guides Burton to victory
Whitland ll (195 for 7) lost to Burton (199 for 7)
Fourth in the table Burton were delighted to claim victory at seventh placed Whitland Seconds.
The hosts opened the batting, and there were decent innings from Nathan Evans (51), Paul Davies (43), Greg Sleep (23) and David Lee (23), with Luke Hayman (3 for 45) and Morgan Scale (2 for 43) taking wickets as the hosts closed on 195 for 7.
Greg Sleep (3 for 58) and Gethin Benjamin (2 for 46) took wickets for the Borderers, but Burton’s Jon Venables (96) was in vintage form and he can count himself unlucky that he didn’t reach a ton, but Robbie Neale (33) and Matthew Davies (22no) knocked off the required runs for victory.
