The Neyland response was led by Ian ‘Bish’ Jenkins, for so long a mainstay with Lawrenny but now showing he can still handle a bat with a top score of 34 runs, supported by Rhys Power (15 not out) and Callum Power (10) as Aidie Rees (2 for 25) bowled well for the homesters.

Carew’s big guns fire strongly
Carew (161 for 7) beat Hundleton (138 all out) by 23 runs
Carew’s big guns certainly fired against Hundleton as Barry Wood and Steve Cole scored big runs and Kerry Waters bowled really well.

Hundleton batting was led, as so often over many years, by Jonathan ‘Taffy’ Williams and he contributed 60 runs but only Ben Adams (18) stayed lone with him against another Carew ‘Golden Oldie’ in Kerry Waters (3 for 13) and Ashley Lewis (3 for 44) as Carew pouched a maximum haul of five points.
Cresselly experience too much for The Dock youngsters
Cresselly (161 for 7) beat Pembroke Dock (93 for 7) by 68 runs
Cresselly proved far too strong against a relatively inexperienced Pembroke Dock team and ran out victors by 75 runs as players of the calibre of Richard Harris and Lyn Richards joined their other old hands like Neal Williams (68), skipper Stefan Williams (41) and Christian Phillips (33), recently transferred from Kilgetty, who were their main scorers as teenager Alfie Brown and their old-timer Steve Alford claimed a wicket apiece for The Dock.
For The Dock, the top run-gatherers were Johnny Hay (29), Alfie Brown (12) and Kodi Bratcher (19 not out) but Stefan Jenkins (2 for 18) and Phillips (3 for 28) claimed the wickets that saw Cresselly to victory by a massive 75 runs.
