Bowen’s knock of 62 helped his side to 147 for 7, before Phelps took 5 for 20 in 4.3 overs as the visitors prevailed by 45 runs.
Put into bat, Hook fell to 21 for 2 as skipper Jamie Phelps (8) was bowled by Anthony Mahesh and George James (12) was caught by Rhodri Dyer off David Johns.
But No 3 Bowen turned the tide, hitting eight fours and two sixes in his 52 ball knock when on 128 for 5, he was trapped leg before by Johns.
But Will Goronwy hit a brisk 20 (four boundaries) to maintain momentum and take Hook to 147 for 7.
For Narberth, Johns finished with 3 for 36, Mahesh 1 for 19, Dyer 2 for 24, and Richard Howell 1 for 37.
The hosts then struggled against Hook’s young attack although at 32 for 4, they were given renewed hope by a stand of 44 between Will Nicholas and skipper Johns.
But the latter was caught by James off Andrew Thomas for 14, and although Nicholas went on to reach 38 (six fours) he was skittled by Phelps to effectively end matters.
Alongside the latter’s haul, Brennan Martin took 3 for 22, Oscar Willington 1 for 31, and Thomas 1 for 24 as Narberth finished 102 all out.
Neyland keep it tight to win at Whitland
Whitland (90 for 8) lost to Neyland (123 for 8) by 33 runs
Umpires: Tony Walsh and Robert Ridge.
Scorer: Rob Benjamin (Whitland).
Their total of 123 for 8 seemed a gettable one, but the hosts could only reach 90 for 8 in their reply amidst some tight bowling.
It was Lewis Page (37), Luke Ryan (21), and Jack John (17 not out) who played vital hands for the away side, despite a super spell from Hywel Bevan, which yielded 4 for 29, while Luc Owen (2 for 43) and Gethin Benjamin (1 for 22) also took wickets.
But Paul Miller’s men then kept their nerve, and their discipline, despite Owen again leading the challenge with 29 not out.
Bevan hit 27 and James Thomas (10) got started – but John (1 for 12), Gary Lloyd (1 for 21), George Evans (2 for 30) and Tom Pritchard (2 for 21) all bowled economically to stifle the run chase.
Saundersfoot into the semi’s as Burton’s chase falls short
Saundersfoot (144 for 5) beat Burton (135 for 8) by 9 runs
Umpires: Glyn Cole and Dave Bonner.
Scorers: Roger Stanford and Janice Webb.
It was a close finale in Saundersfoot as Burton came up nine runs short of the home side’s total of 144 for 5.
It was the experience of James Caine (46) and Phil Jones (45) that helped the home side to their total, while Simon Stanford (27) and Josh Samuels (15 not out) added handy knocks.
For Burton, James Scale (1 for 31), Dan Griffiths (2 for 24), and Tim Webb (1 for 45) had wickets.
Martin James then did his best to push Burton to the target with 51, and Joe John (24) and Aled Thomas (19) also helped to set up a tense finish.
But Kevin Sykes (2 for 20), Jack Franklyn (2 for 24), and Stanford (2 for 37) ensured they ran out of overs to frustratingly finish on 135 for 8.
Lewis lads in the wickets as Cresselly come through their quarter final
Cresselly (158 for 9) beat Herbrandston (127 for 8) by 31 runs
Umpires: Chris Stapleton and Neil Thomas.
Scorers: Cerys Jenkins and Clarissa Lewis.
The Doves racked up 158 for 9 in their 20 overs, and despite a half century from Jack Nicholas, Herbie fell 31 runs short on 127 for 8.
The home total owed much to Simon Cole as he struck 41, and there were handy cameos from Christian Phillips (23), Damien Arthur (28), and skipper Julian Arthur (20).
However, the visitors kept themselves in it with regular wickets from Kristan Bennett (1 for 33), Dean John (2 for 28), Alan McClelland (2 for 48), Nicholas (2 for 28), and Ashley Britton (2 for 19).
And it was youngster Nicholas, recently returned from Tish, who carried the hope in the reply as he made 50, but despite a swift 16 from Dean John and a defiant 24 not out from Callum Britton, the visitors were always behind the rate.
Once again it was the Lewis family who did the damage for Cresselly with the ball, Josh taking 4 for 18, Morgan 2 for 43, and Matthew 1 for 21 – while captain Arthur notched 1 for 15 to restrict Herbie to 127 for 8.
