Llangwm’s reply started cautiously as skipper Dom Asson (10) and Ewan Griffiths (2) put on 14 in eight overs, but once they went wickets fell regularly despite an entertaining cameo from Tom Rees, who hit four boundaries in his top score of 25.

For the hosts, Gary Reynolds starred with the ball as he took 5 for 23, after the opening pair of Daf Williams (2 for 18) and Tom Clarke (2 for 9) had bowled tight spells.

And there was also a wicket for Jones (1 for 14) to round off a memorable individual day for him.
