A superb innings of 119 by skipper Shaun Whitfield helped Carew gain a six-wicket win at Narberth as he blasted 11 fours and five sixes before he was well caught on the boundary by Kyle Quartermaine off his brother Ben.
Put in to bat first, Narberth were in trouble at 87 for 6 but fought back well to finish on 214 for 9 in their allotted 45 overs, with brothers Kyle and Ben Quartermaine contributing respective knocks of 37 and 46 not out (including three fours and a six).
Other useful scores came from Ben Hughes (13), his brother Daniel (21), Jordan Howell (13), Davy Johns (15) and Rhodri Dyer, who belted two fours and three sixes in his 42 to help take his side well past the 200 mark.

Cresselly hold out in tense finale
Haverfordwest (192 for 9) lost to Cresselly (199 for 7) by 7 runs
Umpires: Trefor Evans & Nigel Richards
Scorers: Jayne Cole & Teagan Cartwright
A hard-fought match at The Racecourse ended with Cresselly beating old rivals Haverfordwest by seven runs as 15 year old Charlie Arthur was their hero as he bowled the final over of the match with The Town needing 11 runs but conceding only four runs to show a maturity beyond his years.
Cresselly were put in to bat by Haverfordwest and Dan Sutton again topped their batting chart with 55 before he fell to Jake Merry, well caught by Dai Davies – and other runs came via Simon Cole (16), Ollie Berry (29), Christian Phillips (32), Charlie Arthur (17), Mike Venables (26 not out) and Tom Murphy (12 not out).
For The Town there were wickets for Ashley James (2 for 24), Jake Merry (1 for 41), Clive Tucker (2 for 38) and Archie Thomas 1 for 40.
Mikey Jones (28) and Jake Merry (45) gave Haverfordwest a solid start and other cameos came from Dan Field (12), and Archie Thomas 14) as skipper Dai Davies led by example with top score of 53.
But Christian Phillips again showed his bowling skills with best Cresselly figures of 4 for 34, with support from Simon Cole (2 for 35), Tom Murphy (1 for 23) and young Arthur, who had 1 for 22 to complete a very good all-round performance.
Neyland steer their way to victory over The Seasiders
Neyland (200 for 8) beat Saundersfoot (108 all out) by 92 runs
Umpires: Chris Stapleton & Tony Walsh
Scorers: John Laugharne & Adge John
Neyland have lost to Saundersfoot in a recent season at The Athletic Ground but on this occasion The Seasiders were unable to show their recent batting form and paid the inevitable price as they went down by 92 runs.
Neyland, who were without several key players, opened with skipper Sean Hannon but he departed for a duck before Ashley Sutton settled in but was run out for 24.
Scott Jones contributed 60 (four boundaries) before he was stumped by Tom Mansbridge off the bowling of Nick Cope and other vital runs came from Nathan Banner (39), Ross Hardy (24) and Will Hughes (36) as the successful Seasiders’ bowlers were Tudor Hurle (2 for 51), Sam Franklin (3 for 26) and Nick Cope (1 for 33).
But Saundersfoot made heavy weather of their reply as only Tom Mansbridge (17), Simon Stanford (25) and Yannik Parker (31) ever stayed long against a varied home attack which included Jones (completing a good afternoon with 4 for 26), Geraint Rees (3 for 36), Ross Hardy (1 for 18) and the ever-green Gary Lloyd (back to help out with several players carrying minor niggles after so many recent games and claiming 1 for 8 from his typically tight spell).
The Seasiders were shot out in 38.2 overs as Nathan Banner typified the Neyland attitude in the field as he watched a chance fly his left shoulder, turned and dived to take a fantastic catch in his outstretched left hand!
Tish push Lawrenny contenders all the way but just miss out
St Ishmaels (200 for 7) lost to Lawrenny (201 for 8) by 2 wickets

After being invited to bat first, Tish scored only seven runs in as many overs but then settled to reach maximum batting points whilst Lawrenny could only claim seven wickets by Ryan Morton (1 for 44) and Rob Williams (2 for 23), plus 2 for 31 apiece by Harry Thomas and Kurtis Marsh.
Leading the Tish batting, as so often in the past was Peter Bradshaw, with seven boundaries in his 54, ably assisted by Phil Cockburn (six fours on his 43), Karl Rhead (29), Brennan Devonald (17) and Jon Pawlett, whose unbeaten 32 included four off their last ball of 45 overs to take them to 200 for 7.
Lawrenny’s ‘Mr Consistent’ Kurtis Marsh continued his remarkable form over the season with nine boundaries in his 52 and there were also runs for Harry Thomas (11), James Phillips (30), skipper Joe Kidney (22), Tom Cole (21) and Steve Campbell (13) before the experience of Rob Williams paid off with a vital 15 not out at the end, despite the efforts of Brennan Devonald (1 for 40), Andrew Pawlett (2 for 37), Jordan Milich (1 for 28), Andrew Williams (1 for 27), Jonathan Pawlett (1 for 18) and Lewis Rhead (2 for 28).
