Welsh Schools Under 15's Football Tournament:

County Schools U15s go down to defeat

(Pembrokeshire Schools Under 15's 0   - Carmarthenshire Schools Under 15's 3)

Pembrokeshire had an early setback when Geraint Harries went off injured and then they failed to establish any convincing possession football or composure in front of goal.    A strong finish by Carmarthen put them into a deserved lead, but Dafydd Bevan and Dylan Davies made dangerous runs into the penalty area without any luck or success.

Jack Parkinson and Harri Vaughan showed a strong presence in the second half in what was a much better team performance, but as the game progressed Carmarthenshire showed variation and skill in attacking.  Fraser James and goalkeeper Ben Pepper did some outstanding work at the back for Pembrokeshire but Carmarthenshire came back with a good individual goal to make the score 2-0 .

Pembrokeshire at least restored some pride with some better passing along their left and Dafydd Bevan hit the bar with a strong cross shot. Carmarthenshire applied terrific pressure towards the end, of what was a good match and made the final score 3-0 with the last kick of the game.
