New referees still wanted

Following the recent success of nine candidates who passed the referees' course before Christmas,  the Pembrokeshire League is looking to run another course for all potential referees – whether you are a young referee or an ex-player looking to put something back into the game we would be happy for you to take the course.
The course will be run over 6-8 weeks and is usually run at Neyland Athletic Club. It is paid for by the Pembrokeshire Football League so if interested please contact the League Secretary Brian Hawkins on 01646 698075, mobile: 07770 572977 or email: brian.hawkins@virgin.net, or Pedr Mcmullen on 07979 308310 or email: pedrmcmullen@totalise.co.uk.

Open invitation from Pembrokeshire Referees' Society

The Pembrokeshire Referees' Society have extended an open invitation to all referees, Pembrokeshire League officials and Pembrokeshire Clubs , whether it be administrators, managers or players to attend their next monthly meeting on Friday 8th February, kicking off at 7.30 p.m when a forum session will take place.  The venue is Neyland Athletic Club and the title of the forum session will be Dissent, banter and knowing where the line is.

It is envisaged the evening will highlight issues in relation to referees, their decision making and the directives cascaded down from FIFA which at times cause consternation amongst football lovers every Saturday.

Those wishing to enquire more on the evening, or our wishing to attend, should contact the Society Chairman, Jonathan Twigg, either by email [pembsadmin@rawales.co.uk] or telephone 07977588748.  A warm welcome will be awaiting all and sundry from President Danny Thomas and all Officers of the Society.
