Hakin United were crowned Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division champions after picking up a convincing 3-1 victory over Narberth at Jesse Road in midweek.
Delighted Vikings clinch league title at Narberth

The Vikings sealed a brilliant victory thanks to goals scored by Matthew Broome, James Stanmore and Justin Harding. Justin Blewitt replied for the Bluebirds’ only goal, and the trophy will now be presented this Saturday at The Glebelands Ground, when Hakin United play at Johnston.

Realistically Johnston were the only other team with an outside shot of pinching the silverware from the Vikings, but the Tigers drew 1-1 at home against Pennar Robins and dropped two points, so mathematically, despite having games in hand Johnston cannot catch the newly crowned champions. Jason Donohue bagged The Robins’ goal and Liam Boswell netted a second half equaliser to salvage a point for the Tigers.

Goodwick United have moved up to second in the table after winning 3-2 at Monkton Swifts. Finding the back of the net for the visitors was Rhys Dalling (2) and Tom Jones (penalty). Blake James and Rob Jones were the Swifts’ goal scorers.

Hundleton gained a 1-0 victory at Saundersfoot Sports; Jack Richards bagged the visitors’ winner.

Tenby thrashed St Ishmaels 6-2 at the Clicketts. Sam Christopher (4), Billy Vaughan and Callum Proctor scored for the Seasiders whilst Craig Harding and Gareth Cheshire scored for the visitors.
