There were some cracking games in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division.

Table toppers Narberth won 5-4 at home against Monkton Swifts, the visitors are the only team to have beaten the Bluebirds in the league this season, winning 3-0 at home a few weeks ago. Adie Jones scored a superb hat-trick alongside a brace from Narberth player boss Matthew Price; this result kept the homesters a point clear at the summit. Wayne Brunton scored a brace for the visitors with Ben Adams and Daniel Scourfield also adding their names to the score sheet. Not many teams will go to Jesse Road and score four goals and still finish on the losing side.

Johnston moved up to third in the table after clinching an important 2-0 victory at arch-rivals Merlins Bridge, Nicky Woodrow and Chris Ormond scored a goal each in the second half.

Hakin United stay second in the table after comfortably won 4-0 at home against Saundersfoot Sports, Steven ‘Squashy’ Allen scored twice from the spot and Aaron Owens and James Stanmore also netted for the mighty Vikings.

Goodwick United came from two-goals behind to gain a 5-2 victory at second from bottom Hundleton. Jason Donohoe and Geraint Lewis scored a goal apiece that gave their side a two-goal cushion, but the visitors stormed back with crucial goals from Rhys Dalling, Lewis Banks and a brilliant hat-trick from Kieran O’Brien that gave them three points on their travels.

Mike Chandler, Paul Hannon and Patrick Bellerby scored the goals that secured Neyland a comfortable 3-0 victory at Pennar Robins.

West Dragons won 4-0 at bottom of the table West Dragons, finding the back of the net for the triumphant visitors were Johnny Horgan (2), Joey Brill and Scott Crawford.

Two teams from Pembrokeshire were involved in the Tony Nakonecznyj Insurance Brokers WWFA Intermediate Cup – St Clears lost 4-2 at home against Trallwm, Danny Peters and Gareth Griffiths netted for the disappointed Saints.
Tenby hammered Resolven 10-0 at home, with Darryl Mansbridge (4), Jordan Richards (2), Sam Christopher (2), Billy Vaughan and Toby Rossiter grabbing the goals.
