Six out of the seven Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division games scheduled went ahead for the second successive week.

In the top versus bottom clash, Hakin United comfortably won 5-0 at home against Saundersfoot. With the other results going the Vikings’ way they have stretched their lead to a healthy 11 points clear at the top of the summit. Justin Harding (2), Nicky Woodrow, Ashley Bevan and Matthew Broome scored for the reigning champions.

Merlins Bridge are in second spot, and they lost for the second week in row, this time at Pennar Robins who won 2-0 at Bush Camp, as Phil Thompson and Adam Cole struck the back of the net.

Neyland thrashed Johnston 6-0 at home to move to third in the table, scoring the goals for the Nomads were Aaron McQuillan, Mike Chandler, Wayne Parry, Sean Hannon, Scott Jones and an own goal completed the rout.

Goodwick United are fourth in the table after winning 0-3 at Angle, finding the net for the visitors were Rob Morgans, Llyr Tobin and Jonny Horgan.

Herbrandston proved too strong for St Clears as they won 5-2 at home. Netting for the homesters were a brace apiece by Scott Reid and Hayden Dimond and a solitary effort by Daniel Munn. The battling Saints replied with goals scored by Nick Squire and Steve Thomas.

Monkton Swifts drew 2-2 at home against Narberth. The visitors led two-nothing at half time thanks to Matthew Price and Dorian Davies finding the back of the net. The Swifts replied with goals scored by Matthew Davies and Daniel Scourfield.

West Dragons versus Tenby was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
