The Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League first division ended on Saturday.
The last game of the season was played at Jesse Road where Narberth won 4-2 against Goodwick United. Bagging the goals for the Bluebirds were Jordan Williams, Tony Evans, Nathan Evans and Adie Jones and Goodwick’s Jordan Griffiths replied with a brace.
In midweek, Tenby defeated Narberth 3-2 at the Clicketts. Joe Leahy (2) and Jack Christopher scored for the Seasiders and Ashley Williams and Jordan Williams netted for the visitors.
Nick Koomen scored the only goal that secured Neyland a 1-0 victory against Merlins Bridge in the Senior Cup second round.
On Saturday, Neyland hammered Haverfordwest Cricket Club 7-1 at home to progress to the Senior Cup semi final where they will play Narberth next Saturday, 25th April at Monkton Lane. Aaron McQuillan (2), Henry Durrant, Wayne Parry, Sean Hannon, Gary Power and Mike Chandler netted for the Nomads, whilst Jamie Cato scored the visitors’ only goal of the quarter final.
The other Senior Cup semi final will also take place next Saturday at Marble Hall; Goodwick United play Angle, both ties will kick off at 2pm.
