Mission completed for ‘Skinny’Justin ‘Skinny’ Harding is best-known as a goal-scoring striker with Hakin United and now Neyland football clubs but he has redoubled his exercise over the past few months to help raise funds for a worthy cause.

Skinny recently ran the Cardiff Half Marathon in support of Portfield School, Haverfordwest, and after setting himself a finishing target of under three hours was understandably delighted to cross the finishing line in two hours and five minutes!

He chose Portfield School, where they teach and help disabled children within the county, because his brother Josh suffers from Abnormality Short Arm Chromosome 2 and has been going to Portfield School for the last 16 years and recently completed his final year there.

So Skinny, assisted by his parents Trudy and Jimmy, set about trying to raise as much money as possible as a means of giving something back, as a thank you from the Harding family.

Although money is still coming in, Skinny and family hope to present Portfield School with a cheque for around £1,200, a lovely gesture from a young gentleman of sport!
