West Dragons stay top of the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division after picking up their seventh win of the season.
Angle lost 1-4 at home against West Dragons with Lee Duignan scoring his side’s only goal of the game, Jordan Thomas, Scott Crawford, Daniel Bryce and an own goal secured victory for the league leaders.
Bottom of the table Carew were thrashed 0-8 at home against Merlins Bridge. Lee Hudgell (2), Terry McComb (2), James Skudder, Matthew D’Ivry, Andrew John and Stephen McNabney scored for the Wizards.
Herbrandston suffered a heavy 1-6 defeat at home against champions Hakin United. There was a brace apiece for former Herbie striker Scott Reid (on his Vikings’ debut) and Ben Steele, also Nicky Woodrow and Ewan Findlay scored for the visitors; Craig Nicholson scored a consolation goal for Herbie.
Johnston ran out clear 4-0 winners at home against St Clears, there was a brace each for Adam Hawkins and Joey George.
Pennar Robins narrowly lost 2-3 at home against Milford United. Patrick McDonagh and Dai Patterson scored for the homesters, but the visitors sealed victory with goals scored by Ashley Mathias, Ben Aldred and Chris Thompson.
Tenby lost 1-3 at home against in form Goodwick United. Jordan Richards scored the Seasiders’ only goal, but the visitors bagged the points with goals by Rob Morgans, Kieran O’Brien and Jonny Horgan.
Neyland narrowly lost 2-3 against Narberth at home in the second round of the Senior Cup. This was a repeat of last season’s semi final clash that the Nomads won, but the Bluebirds raced into a three goal lead as Tony Evans, Dylan Davies and Dylan Blain found the back of the net, the Nomads hit back with goals from Scott Jones and Wayne Parry, but it was the Bluebirds who held on for an important win.
