Hakin United captain Nicky Woodrow claimed a brilliant hat-trick
There were only two games played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday, the rest of the matches that were scheduled were postponed due to waterlogged pitches as adverse weather struck the county.
The top game was played at the Pavilion Ground, where second placed West Dragons were thrashed 2-9 against champions Hakin United. The Vikings led 3-1 at the interval and incredibly they scored a further six goals in the second half to claim the points and currently sit in fifth position in the table
Skipper Nicky Woodrow led by example with a classy hat-trick and there was a brace for Ashley Bevan alongside further goals by Steve Mathias, Ben Steele, James Stanmore and Craig Robertson. Daniel Bryce scored a goal in each half for the well-beaten Dragons.
The only other game that was played was at Windmill Lane where Angle gained an impressive 3-1 victory over Neyland. Simon Lewis, Chris Richards and Craig Brockway netted for the homesters, whilst Andrew Smith scored a consolation goal for the Nomads.
The other matches that were postponed were Milford United v Carew; Pennar Robins v Merlins Bridge; St Clears v Herbrandston and Tenby v Narberth.
